Facts:

Pool Size: 1500
Pool Fee: $200
Pot: $300,000 Less $30,000 Admin=$270,000 (Same as the last 8 years)

Rules: Simple, pick one team, must win straight out, tie's lose. You can pick the same team the next week if you want.

Week #1 Lost 1169 (most had Denv, Minn and Rams with some on Phil and Balt. I was the only one with JAX.

Week #2 Remaining 331: 181 Indy- Won 150 Phil-Won None eliminated

Week #3 Remaining 331: Facts, no multiple entries remaining, all were eliminated in week #1. Also I have tracked these guys for many years, and have tracked all there picks up to when I get eliminated, and they well be on the largest fav, at least 90% on Indy and 10% on Phil.

It's hard to see how Indy could lose to the browns, or Phil losing to the Raiders, but shit happens.

Last year, week #8, i was one of the 6 left. Ace had recommended SD, they Won. The best pro capper i know here in LV, recommended Seat. I picked the biggest fav Denv at home vs Atl, and so did 3 others (they lost large), the other 2 had seat, and agreed to split the pot. So again the pool was over before week #10.

With all that said, and knowing that I dont want to be on Phil or Indy, as they are impossible to lose teams, so my thoughts are:

SD - 0-2, dont like taking either teams that have never won or never lost, but they are sure much better than there record, at home on grass, playing a Giants team with 1 day less rest, coming all the way from the east coast and playing on grass vs turf

Seat: 1-1, not a great team, sure dont know how to put any team away, but they sure play well at home. Much better coached than AZ, although AZ is playing like they have nothing to lose.

Dal: 1-1 not a very good team, but they are playing the worst in the NFL, and do have a much better D

as of now those would be my only choices, and would welcome any suggestions.

many thanks, and gl

This is not the week to overthink much about who to pick. Oak could beat Philly. Indi is the play this week for survivor pool.

AC: no limit on the amount of times you can take any team. that is why i believe all will be on indy and phil, and one of them will be upset. always happens and always will, it's just when though

I think Dallas is a solid choice for the pool. I do like SD, but not a game I would go for in the pool.

i dunno. i wanna go for it but might end up going with Seattle although after dallass blew the MNF game they are gonna get killed by Parcells all week and will be breathing fire come game time. if i don't take SD this week the only other time i could see taking them would be week 14 hosting miami - and who knows if this thing is still going then - and also - if SD is out of it - they will turn to Rivers to see what he can do - and if that is the case - not so sure i want him representing me for as much as this thing is worth. and NYG plays on something similar to grass - and i know it is not but it is close - so that isn't something i care about - the other stuff you mentioned is. i am going to be spending the week scouring the SD papers and all sorts of info for anything i can find to help push me to SD here

whatever you do - DO NOT take Indy this week - DO NOT (unless you have Washington still left as an option)! They will win but DO NOT take them this week - i will tell you why NEXT week - but trust me on this one

for me it will probably be one of the "S" teams: SD, Seat or StL

i didn't like how seattle's offense performed in the second half against atlanta...they didn't move the ball or score any points.

how has seattle fared against az in the past three years?

San Diego would be my 1st choice: Frustrated Chargers will take it out on dorky Eli and the G-men

Gutsy call for Chicago as well. Da Bears D will stuff Bengals' offense :) Palmer will have a couple of INTs!

Other candidates include Indy of course, Philly (Oak going to East coast playing an early game) and St Loo

I'd go either Indy or Cincy. I'm expecting a huge offensive rebound from the Colts at home and also think Marvin Lewis will have a defensive scheme that will confuse and frustrate Orton.....

My loser pool works the reverse way - pick a team to lose each week, and you can't pick that team again.

I can't see a better week to go against Cleveland except for Week 10 against Pittsburgh.

That being said, would you agree that I should pick Cleveland to lose this week?
