Sure the line has went up 9 points, when the final is 56-10 who cares? John L will not let up on June Jones in Spartan Stadium.. Hawaii is awful on the mainland and MSU is fired up for a woodshedder after last years game.. MSU is my darkhorse in the BIG 10 and this game may set the tone for the rest of the season...

Hawaii's passing game might be in sync by the end of the season, but its clearly a work in progress right now, too many dropped passes, missed reads, etc. I think June needs to settle on one qb to get the guy in rythm. Splitting time doesnt work too good for this type of offense.

The defense? Fugedaboutit. They are downright horrible. What little talent there was is now lost to injury. UH's best defense is their offense.

You make some good points. We all agree that MSU is the superior team. Keep in mind that MSU has Notre Dame on deck. Hawaii is capable of the back door cover with their Mickey Mouse offense. Yes, the Rainbow defense is below average, however, their offense did manage to keep USC's offense off the field in the 1st Quarter. I don't know of any other 30 plus point dogs capable of doing that. The line seems a little inflated to me.

Proman, i think the reason why most of these people are going with MSU is because this game is important to MSU as ND is!!! I guess you have missed out on the war of words between the two respective coaches, i guess you dont remember the bush whacking the warriors executed on the spartans!!!

Historically, Spartans have had a very bad habit of dying in massive numbers by picking fights with enemies 10 times or even 100 times bigger than they are...This time round, i think the Spartans have the larger numbers and are going to exact revenge on the hapless warriors!!!! That game from last year is not something a team will forget that easily!!!

Here are many things that I have noticed while watching UH over the years. UH's best defense is their offense. They have played bad over the years because Timmy Chang played bad on the road. Being that UH throws the ball on almost every single down, if he played bad then UH played bad. In June Jones not naming a starting QB, he is actually smart to see which QB can play on the road and which can't. I was however impressed at both QB's in their first starts. I was not impressed however by Bess's play as he dropped a couple of catches. I will definately watch this game, but will not play it as there are too many intangilbes and questions about this game. All I know is that there is bad blood brewing between these teams. Michigan State coach started it, but now thats gonna make June Jones look in his bag of tricks to try and beat them. The loss of Saftey Leonard peters is huge as he was last season's leading tackler as well as one of the 2 fastest players on the team. SB Ferguson's loss is not too big of a hit as I feel it allows SB Nate Ilaoa to get a look again. This guy is seriously a gamer, only thing is his reporting to training camp overweight pissed off June Jones and he was quickly demoted after suffering a minor hamstring injury that he quickly recovered from.

I know Mich State is good, tahts why I'm just gonna sit back and enjoy this game. and maybe put a very small wager on Hawaii
