Last week KC was 129 and they were a system favorite of 4 ..... they lost 38 to 31 (which equals 7). And 7 + 4 = 11, which would adjust KC -1 from 129 to 128 for this week. Thought I better point it out in case one of us has made an error. BOL this week GAME!

How do you handle “meaningless games” or situations where teams are sitting starters?

My understanding is that you use the “end of the season” #’s for week 1 of next season ... but in regard to “meaningless games” and etc., I am wondering if you just use the current #’s from week 17, or do you indeed make one final adjustment (just as if there was a week 18 coming up)? And if so, do you just ignore the fact that some teams aren’t playing to win this week? (I have a pretty good idea of what your answer is, but wanted to confirm instead of assuming.) Thanks!

I don't want to speak for GAME, but my impression was the numbers for next year don't really start to kick in until week 4 or so.

Sorry sds, been wrapped up...if games are played you make the adjustment.
After adjusting the teams from week 17’s outcomes you have the final #’s....those are used to start the process again in week 1 regular season.
There is no off weeks, once next year’s week 1 starts...it starts all over again, it just takes til about week 3 or 4 until you have enough results for patterns to form.
