Last week produced the 2nd losing week of the season and the worse of the 2, going 1-4 ats.
(Tom&jerry called 2 additional games by the way), both of which produced winners but I had dismissed them , and rightly so, due to lack of the amount of plays.
But that just showed he does have a complete feel for understanding the #'s, so good work t&j, keep it up and thanx.

If anyone was with the #'s long enough you might remember about 10 or 12 years ago the lines used to switch sometime after the mid season point, #'s that would provide steady winners...wwwwwwww..would switch and give steady losers...lllll....and visa versa, but the system was tweaked over the years to get it where they remained constant.

One of the things they do exceptionally well is get back to right after a losing week, so I expect that to be the case this week, and it looks to be a good week.
I was wrapped up this week, sorry I'm late, but here we go, let's see what happens.

The plays that I interpret are:

Bengals (9-1 ATS)

Raiders (4-0 ATS)

Titans (2-0 ATS)

The strongest play being the Bengals!

Got the same ones and the Bengals line has been dropping all week from -3 down to -1.5 currently.

Yeah, this line should be Cinci -4........I know the ppublic is overreacting to what Pitt did last Sunday night to the Colts.

If Pitt loses this game, they might lose next vs Denver & might not make the playoffs, but with a 9-7 record, they might squeek in.

Shale,
I guess it's a question of how you categorize them, but my house has the Bears -3.5 vs. Washington and the data for this is only 0-1 so I made it a no play.

Also, the Eagles are -1 vs. the Bills at my house and the data here is 0-0 going strictly by the chart.

I suppose if you grouped all the home pick-em's together, one could reason your choice of plays on Buffalo and WA in addition to the others.

The chart does not correlate to the odds at all. It is strictly chart related only. HF and RF are only listed as such according to how THEGAME's chart reads.

Simple math of subtracting the two teams numbers on GAME's chart will make the difference between HF and RF. Then read the W/L according to the team with the difference of numbers, whether it is home or away fav with chart.

Ive followed this system for a number of years and always get confused on the Home Picks section...What you say above is correct except for teams that have the same rating (ex: Buf & Philly this week), then you look at the home picks on the far right of the chart. In this situation Game uses the closing line to determine a W or L, but as you can see all home picks have lost this year...so my take is both BUF & WASH are plays this week in addition to Cincy, Tenn, Oak.

Game, can you confirm i'm interpreting the home picks section correctly please?

thanks and looking forward to a big rebound on Sunday :103631605

Correct on the home picks, GAME has the lines there for tracking the number and the home team is 0-6. So IMO Washington and Buffalo will be somehow be on my play list for tomorrow. Along with the other three. Ugly card, but ugly cards usually have more profitable days then not.

Hopefully T&J will share what the picks are. I'm still trying to figure this out.
Thank you for all the work and info gentlemen!

You're exactly correct, every team this year who was at home in a "pick" situation, lost ats, and the line attached to the loss was the closing line as it applied to the home team in that game.

Understand that the chart does not factor in the LV betting lines. However, in the chart, as GREENCHRIS has referenced, the line is listed for those games played that have a 'zero' difference (i.e. home pick) to demonstrate what the Vegas line was for those games.

Agree with you as well that the 0-6 record is for all of those home pick games and maybe GAME considers them all in the same way. However I just cannot remember this from previous years and would ask GAME to clarify. It is confusing because why would he differentiate the home picks by listing Vegas line?

It's a bit confusing and perhaps I'm not clear enough on that aspect of the chart to make an intelligent comment on it.
Hopefully GAME can clarify for us at some point.

You have to remember, like Seinfeld, it's a show about nothing...
The #'s don't care what the line is, they tell you who to take regardless of what the line is, I only attach the closing line to the home teams in pick games as a way of logging them, and in case there may be a particular line where it always wins or looses...

Hope that makes sense...

Got it. I understand that the numbers don't care what the line is.
Just didn't know why you listed the lines only for those games that were home pick and not the others. Was reading more into it than was necessary.

Thank you for the explanation.
