Plus a few units here since posting the last couple of weeks...overall it's been a pretty solid yr for me posting down the street....pretty quiet over there so I figure I'll share some winners (hopefully) over here :drink:

CAR -3 -135 >>> 2 UNITS
Hate to lay this much vig but just can't bring myself to take the Fins on a short week on the road....I realize Carolina is on a short week as well but they've been at home for a couple of weeks...both teams need this game to have any shot at the Playoffs and I think we'll see this Panthers DEF and Peppers create all kinds of havoc for the young Henne.

I think alot of cappers are downplaying or underestimating the loss of Ronnie Brown because of the presence of Ricky Williams...well, Ricky is 32 and has only carried over 16x twice this year...you'd think he's fresh but I'm leaning towards his body can't hold up to a 20-25 carry pounding, especially on a short week.

Panthers 24-10

TEXANS -3 -135 ~ 2 UNITS

Line just dropped to 3.5 at Bookmaker...

Texans have had 2 weeks to prepare for the national stage and one has to think they spent a boatload of time preparing for Chris Johnson after he torched them in Week 2.

Since going 1-2 to start the yr they've went 5-2 over the enxt 7 with two tough, tough losses against a pretty good Cards team and a 10-0 Colts team...a game that was very much in reach if not for a missed FG by usually reliable K Kris Brown.

Matt Schaub often gets lost in the conversation when the "elite" QBs are talked about but this kid has done is throw for over 2600 yards with a passer rating of 98.1 through 10 games.

I think we'll see the re-emergence of Steve Slaton tonight...when you lose the starting gig and then get another opp you've got to think that he'll run with it (no pun intended)...his krytonite if you will has been handling onto the ball, something that is easily correctable and I'd bet he doesn't fumble tonight.

And let's forget who may be the best WR in the league in AJ....hope he plays well but doesn't score over 20 FF points @).
When the Texans slow Chris Johnson I fully expect VY to have all sorts of troubles...this team is very one-dimensional....the Titans DEF has played well of late but let's face it....the 3 teams they beat were the Jags, Niners and Bills, not exactly offensive juggernauts. This will be a true test tonight but I see the Texans coming out on top.

27-13
