Think they're going to blow out NY again? ny has been covering lately. If i was van gundy I would let Ming shoot everytime I could,,,, who can defend him? The other night against memphis as soon as he sat down they blew a 8 pt lead and lost.

 

I was planning on adding this game to my plays but 111-79 scared me off. Not enough time has passed for the Knick players to NOT have that weighing on them. I'd be concerned about Houston being overconfident based on what they did in NYC.

There are two OTB games and if I don't like either one I may still add this one as the line seems to be moving down.

NY is 5-11 vs Western Conference
Hou is 12-4 vs Eastern Conference

NY is 6-12 as away dog
Hou is 13-5 as home fav

I know the blow out will push the line towards NY but I think Houston is a strong play.

Dominating performance by arguably the best defense in the league vs a team that was thrown together a couple of weeks ago. Houston demolished this group a couple of weeks ago in their building, no reason why tonight should have been any different in HOUSTON.

Careful with NY they have a lot of growing pains to go through before they can challenge the top ten in this league. They'll be competative at home vs the also runs and might be worth a look getting 9 or more on the road against real teams.

Razor, Have you considered betting more than one play a day? I ask this because there has to be more than one game a day you like, and that day when you picked Utah and the game got canceled, You picked another winner....

CharlieH,.Yes, I will at times bet more than one game here if they both warrant it.Rarer still, 3 games.I will occasionally also put up a halftime bet. My one bet a day style was arrived at after years of tinkering with amount of bets, 3 a day, 4 a day.average More often than not I would win one, lose one and the third game would decide if I made money or not. I decided to focus on one game. So many of these games go down to the last shot that the more games you bet the closer you get to a 50% overall win rate. I learned to be discriminate. Also those 0-3, 0-4 nights were devastating to the old psyche. I rather go 0-1 and go at em again next day. One a day it is, everyday on average. I make up for the lack of action, as one might say, by hitting my one game hard in terms of bankroll %. Some might consider my % suicidal but it has worked for me through the years. Let just say that I would not recommended it for anyone. The purpose of bankroll % management is to stay in action and I'm still here after all these years. Good Luck to You Always.

SSI, funny you should ask about the Seattle game tonight. I remember reading something you wrote about 2 years ago that has helped me with my decisions. I think you were referring to Baseball, (but I apply it to all sports) you wrote something like, I'm paraphrasing "One should look for teams on streaks and bet them... What I got out of it was that one should involve one's self with the trends either positive or negative and go with them.

Somethings going on with Seattle, they've lost twice to Cleveland in the last 2 weeks and they are 1-6 ATS and SU in their last 7. Seattle had lost 4 in a row then beat Philly and lost to Cleveland again in their last game. Not a team I want to ask to win me money in the favorite position. Also they are a cold team per your criteria. GS has burned me twice at home this season and I want nothing to do with them as a dog. I can't get a handle on GS. So Seattle/GS did not come close for me at all

good enough and your right about backing streaking teams, especially in baseball.. not many choices tonight in the nba but i think seattle will win this one..
