[h=1]Donovan reinventing Thunder offense

[/h]
i

Royce Young writes of new Thunder coach Billy Donovan: "Movement. Spacing. Passing. Those are the unicorns of Thunder offense, empty words that have been bandied about the last few seasons by players and coaches when reality told a much different story ... Donovan's aim is to make the offense more inclusive, more versatile, more precise, more diverse and more effortless

During the Heat's championship runs, Chris Bosh moved out to the perimeter, becoming the rare center who took 3-pointers. Now it's happening league-wide, leading Bosh to say: "It's not cool. I'm supposed to be the guy doing this stuff."

The Warriors center left in the third quarter of Tuesday's win over the Pelicans and did not return. He'll have to be cleared under the NBA's concussion protocol before returning to action.

LeBron James' back won't keep him out of playing tonight on the tail end of the Cavs' first back-to-back of the season, per coach David Blatt. The same goes for Timofey Mozgov's knees. CLE has everyone but Kyrie Irving and Iman Shumpert available.

Joakim Noah certainly looks like a guy who is going to try and play tonight. He's been warming up for about 45 minutes trying to get loose. He always gets excited to play in Brooklyn since it's so close to where he lived in NYC when he was younger.

With Dwight Howard out for the season opener, Clint Capela, 22, gets the start at center vs Denver. "You have to remember, Clint has played a handful of NBA games," Kevin McHale said. "He had some playoff games but he's got a long way to go. So Clint is not a finished product. He's just a kid, pump the breaks on that. Let Clint develop and get better."
