Good Question, but I think only the books would really know for certain. But if I must guess, I would say it was the public. I think that the sharps played it early and knew who to take. The public on the other hand , I feel was really torn in this one. Why? Because of Marshall's past success of being on top. The double digit line probally cause alot of confusion , being so high. The weather, could have affected the line also as public waited to last moment, based on this. But really, I am guessing. I am most likely wrong though , but I dont care as I didnt play this game.
