Alright i saw ESPN flash over to the commentators at the game mentioning that the wind may become a factor in the game.

Add that in with Lousville's Defense and i dont see how we hit 79.5 points at all.

One more question i haven' seen talked about.

I know college football teasers are "sucker bets", but i personally see plenty of value in

Cards -5, under 85.5

does anyone else?:icon_conf

I saw that ESPN report about the wind as well which was good news to me since I am on the under. Lots of people off work and watching (read: betting) these games. The public has the perception of an "over" since these 2 teams score well. Books will be putting up a line that is too high knowing that they will still get action on the wrong side.

Perception is that the under is a very scarey play....I don't like the total at all, should go under, not impossible to go over.

i agree completely, all this talk about petrino - if im a player, and my coach is sucked into controversey prior to this game, it doens't phase me.

i have a game to play, a bowl to win, and a boise state team to tear up.

if anything i see this as a 40 something to 20 something louisville...

def. not over 79.5

I love the OVER...so that is why I played the UNDER.....Louisville's D is MUCH better than any team that Boise has played....However, Louisville has the O to score 50+ on that WAC team...

I think Boise keeps this game closer than that. The way everyone is still playing the Cardsisi scarey. I maybe overanalyzing it, this maybe one of those easy to pick games though. Best of luck!

Each team scored 79 points or higher 4 times.

Boise scored .....69-72-72-& 78 combined in games under today's #.
Louisville scored 62-66-73-& 77 combined in games under today's #.

The under may be the right play, but I don't need to touch the sun to know it's hot. When you see a 33 total there's a reason. The same logic applies on these astronomically high No's. I personally teased it down 10 points and will trust that the number is correct. No surprise, if this reaches the mid 90's
