Washington / Denver Total

Both teams are playing 5 preseason games.
Many of the veterans on both teans are banged up and will play minimally, if they play at all.
Excluding travel time, Denver has had about 12 days of practice while Washington has had about 9 days.
These two teams do not meet during the regular season.
There is no home team advantage.
The Canton game has a carnival atmosphere about it.
Both teams seem to have a quarter back situation; for Denver it's a fight over the #1 and #2 backup position, while in Washington it appears to be a wide open job.
The no-contact rules and a few new rules will be in place tonight.

It all looks to me to have the trappings of a shoot out.

I believe that Gibbs has a good preseason record also! Being the first game Denver needs to run the ball to see who might be their running back come September! Also they don't want their QB's wide open throwing the ball this soon and get hurt! Will have time for throwing in the next 2 weeks! Look for a running low scoring game with Joe Gibbs getting his first win back in action!
