Are you kidding the line on this game is only wash -5. Ucla is the worst team I have seen outside of St. Johns and St. Johns beat them badly this year. I know there may be a letdown factor for Wash but Ucla sucks so bad I think if the Huskies played 4 on 5 the whole game they would be able to win by 6. Ucla just played a tough one against another garbage team Oregon and blew a 7 point halftime lead to lose by a point. I think the Bruins packed it in while Washington has all the motivation in the world. The more W's the closer they get to an at large bid. I'm sure Romar knows a first round loss means no bid with that high RPI and poor SOS. Washington rolls.

I hadn't seen the early line on this game yet. I agree that this seems way too low. Washington should win by 15.

Lets see

- UCLA beat Washington twice
- They are playing at LA
- Everyone will be on Washington...
- ...and the line is only Wash -5

I'll take the chance on UCLA.

Drunkn - I know they blow. I might sit it out and take Wash the next game. That line does look very odd though.

I'm really liking Washington lately. My concern is that the venue is new, meaning that they are now in the tournaments. Teams have a tendency to play conservatively at first.

Still, 5 points is not much here seeing how Wash. has been playing well and UCLA has not. I'm keeping my pick on this one in reserve until I do some more research.

UCLA plays at pauley - about 20 minutes away. USC plays at the sports arena - which is about 3 minutes from staples - if that (as is the usc campus).

as for ucla "fans" - trust me - there won't be many of them there. also - look for the usc fans to come root for washington - simply because they are playing ucla. UA and USC play the later game and even though playing ucla would be easier for those schools - rest assured they will be rooting against ucla.

UCLA PLAYS ON CAMPUS, THE LAKERS PLAY AT STAPLES AND USC PLAYS AT THE OLD SPORTS ARENA WHERE THE CLIPPERS USE TO PLAY... UCLA MADE SOME NOISE IN THE PAC-10 TOURNAMENT LAST SEASON IF YOU ALL REMEMBER MAKING IT ALL THE WAY TO THE CHAMPIONSHIP GAME AND ALMOST BEATING OREGON. DON'T SLEEP ON UCLA QUITE YET....
