Have not posted much this year but from what I have seen of these teams, neither plays defense very well....ND should have score more last week and we know what WSU defense is all about..number being bet down but I see it over..

Kinda thinkin the same but wasn't sure if the trees could hold up their end off the scoring. Good luck

thanks ! wazu defense is so bad I dont think anyone has struggled scoring on them.. i think they had one poor offensive performance at Nevada which is a bit confusing .. hoping for points !

After that first drive stanford will get theirs as long as they stick with the run.

You gotta be kidding about Stanford and its defense. They gave up about 2 TDs in the first 4 games. And they are ranked #1 in the country in total defense. Considering that they've played a couple of teams that score well, you can't just ignore that.

Agree with Conan, Stanford not that sharp on offense but they are a very good defensive team.:think2:

I was looking for your post to see if you liked anyone.. Stats are one thing and you are correct number wise but they do not pass my eye test.. not saying they are not good but they are not as good as the number one ranking..they gave away one to an avg usc team imo, beat an avg wash team and lost to an over hyped ND team who should have put up more points..I have saw 4 wsu games this year, I think they have the type of offense that could score a few TD's tonight..

Not saying I am correct just my opinion which wont get you much :)

But it's true that WSU doesn't seem to be able to stop anyone. As bad as Stanford's offense is, they could look like they got well playing the Coogs tonight. On the other hand, WSU is ranked between #5 and #1 nationally in different offensive categories. Their best shot is if Halliday gets a hot hand. He's on track to throw for 6000 yards this year. Honestly, 6000.

:)

I'm counting on all of the above to happen.
But both ND and USC haven't exactly been slackin' it pointswise.
UW is hard to say but at least ND and USC have produced on the scoreboard.

Conan what are your thoughts on Oregon this week, even with the injuries I think they are the right side...

isnt that crazy.. 6000..I also like what Cal is doing on offense, I thought Goff had a good season last year, he had some big games but that defense needs improvement.. I still cant believe Leach left the game up to his kicker last week opposed to punching it in.

I think Washington has taken a step back this year with all the change but its hard not to look at them being a dog at cal

Or maybe Stanford's offense will make WSU's defense look like they got well tonight. Hard to tell when it's a conference game. I do believe that this game will be a tough test for Stanford's passing defense vs Leach's bombardiers, or whatever you call them.

True... Cal is in 1st place in the North div. That is outrageous. (Ranked ahead of Oregon, Stanford and UW... HUH?)
Not a very big difference between Goff and Halliday. That too is pretty amazing. WTF is happening?

I think you could be right about that because UCLA has not responded like you'd think under pressure. Going out on the road and taking care of business is something the Ducks seem to have a handle on. If this turns into a QB showdown, my money is on Mariota. One good half by Hundley after a mediocre 1H in a big grudge match vs ASU isn't enough to convince anyone of very much. The rest has been mostly ugly. UCLA's OL has been just as riddled with injuries and problems as Oregon's OL has but the Ducks have had most of a month to adjust. Why am I not surprised at UCLA dropping one to Utah LW... 10 sacks given up? That is absurd. Win or lose after the Oregon game, watch the Bruins drop another one outright as chalk vs Cal @ Cal.

At least we know Leach won't stop chucking it until the final bell. # of possessions and clock stoppages was what this play was based on and we've had a slow game so far.
