I can't blame bad luck on my loss w/Denver as I ended up 3-1 on the day but that loss was the difference between an outstanding day and just a good day.

Now was Denver a bad play? Look what it took to lose. After dominating for 3 Qtrs the Broncs D went prevent or something because all of a sudden SD couldn't be stopped. Denver managed to keep the game from being a blowout despite moving at will, by fumbling away a possession (a call that seemed to favor the lightning bolts). They ended drives with a FG, a missed FG and they had an INT from the 4 on a ricochet. In spite of Denver's inefficiency SD still needed a 4th down conversion followed by a rarely successful onside kick to cover. This game screamed fix so although I lost I have to ask was it a bad pick?

Winning 3 of 4 is suppose to make you feel good but that one's been bothering me all night.

Let me add I'm not crying fix I was just saying when that many things have to occur in order to lose it leaves you thinking.
I'd be a liar if I didn't admit there are times I wonder but if I honestly thought there were fixes I'd take my money and run.

I hear ya man. It was an excruciating loss. Decker is a fucking piece of shit. And I hate teams that play prevent early in the 4th. Rivers picked that shit apart. Just a tough ass loss to swallow.

i took chargers +10 when the line came out and to me it was payback for the crap backdoor of a push i got with seattle -8.
just like denver seattle dominated the whole game leading by 16-0 at the half. i know how u feel. i felt robbed by seattle getting backdoored. mine is worse still i feel cuz there was less than a 1 min left in the game. some guy comes in my thread and says how well they did vs seattle on def over the seattle offense lol. i guess he didnt count the 140yds beast mode had on the ground

Sorry you lost on that Seattle when Lynch scored I thought I was screwed. All I could think was if I had Seattle Brees would come right back. Well I lucked out (at your expense) I should have lost that one so a least I was on the right side of one of the two back doors. With my luck after that onside kick I was afraid the Saints would score again costing me the under.

The backdoor is sometimes open when laying 7 or more in the NFL. The prevent defense is what keeps teams from covering lots or times in the NFL=NotForLong.

I pushed with my Seattle(-8) over New Orleans play, I lost with my Denver(-8) over San Diego play, but I won with my Indianapolis(+1) over Kansas City play (not a "back door" cover when you win and advance in a playoff game).

In retrospect, I strongly believe my capping was much more solid on the Seattle and Denver plays, and way off on the Indianapolis game. But it all comes with the territory.

the Denver game sucked for Denver backers, but it was far from an uncommon game

that type of loss happens all the time, 2 out of 4 games this weekend alone

In my opinion a bad bet is a losing bet. I was on Seattle and SD......I guess it evens out.

I thought it was a tough beat. Denver dominated and should have been up more than 17 going into the 4th quarter. I think the thing that bothered me is that San Diego recovers the onside kick and kicks FG. So, you figure they are gonna go with another onside kick w/3 minutes left and then instead they pooch it away. Was thinking if they onside kick and Denver recovers the 2nd time that they might have a shot at a FG (since SD had timeouts plus 2 minute warning) to cover the number. Think that was the most frustrating part at the end.....

But if they recover onside kick they most likely cover.....

You prob lost a couple on backdoors that's why you can't pay your debt. For anyone doing business with this guy, watch out! Deadbeat and a Welch

seattle had couple big plays... key turnover..was the difference.... just the way it goes sometime some teams dominate and dont cover, some get out played and cover

Where to begin?

Decker getting tripped by turf monster with a clear path to the end zone
The lucky pick in the end zone that hit Decker in the pads and bounced into arms of a defender
The questionable fumble when Thomas appeared to be down
Welker's drop on an easy pass the the 1 yard line
Holiday KO return for a TD that was called back on a penalty
The 4th and 5 conversion for 50 yard bomb
Chris Harris getting injured
SD recovering the onside kick
etc, etc, etc

Always take the better defense if they are getting points......

SD defense kept the chargers in the game... San Diego held Denver under 30 points 3X this year only one other team kept Denver under 30 points this year.

It was pretty fortunate to get the cover but that is how it goes in the NFL.....
