Only -4 on the road.
Nothing to play for but only -4???

Calvillo should play a half.

Maybe classic dog pick?

Your right.
This is the last big game for Mon. if they win it.
Cats are alive if they win.

Montreal -4 seems suspiciously low. Perhaps, sportsbooks want the public to bet on Montreal? But home dogs are 8-4 ATS and Hamilton 8-3 ATS. Montreal moneyline might be safe because Hamilton has losted 10 of 11 previous meetings.

line should be -3

definate value in the Cats interesting game - Montreal has been a good 1st half team over the years but not some much this year. Hamilton has been a great second half team this year.

Hamilton has been playing good this year and they hot at home. That is why the line is only -4. I do like Montreal in this spot though to lock down the division.

I don't think -4 is a strange line at all for the Als. Hamilton has played quite well this season todate, particularly at home. This is a road game for Montreal and against an Eastern division opponent as well. Furthermore the Cats are going to want to prove that they can go toe to toe with the Als come playoff time. The line is about right and in fact might be a half or a point over the proper mark in my opinion.

Montreal is showing to be a bit vulnerable away from home. Does Hamilton step up and keep hope alive for a round 1 bye? Or do Montreal realize the importance of this game... the first some-what important game of the season... and lay the smack down? Personally, I have no clue. I would probably lean Montreal, since they have shown a tendency to beat down their own division (4-0 this year, avg margin of victory = 23.5 pts).

What an easy win. I guess Hamilton is still Hamilton.
