Its not like Defense has changed, the game has! It is a typical playground style with no disipline. Coaching is just a title with ZERO requirements. I can't watch just look at scores and wonder what happened :think2:

it is a good conference and they love to slow the game down. have you ever seen a northwestern game? majority of the teams follow the pattern. shooting isnt emphasized in this conference as much because your defense a lot of time is your offense, ie scoring off of turnovers, etc.
almost all the teams though play a low tempo half court grind out game. may not be the most appealing to some, but again i'd put the big 10 up against any conference but the big east top to bottom.
Lets not make this a pissing contest over what College team will make it to the final dance! The "game" itself has fallen apart, there are out of control situations that will happen but whenever I flip on any channel with a game, I see un-organized tempo. This is not how basketball was played. I'm ready and willing to accept change but we all say the country is going to shit but never stop for a second and say we are letting the those who should be learning lead us to wherever! Coach K may not be at the Final Dance but I'm sure someone who mirrors him will be!
Your out of your mind Illini is the 2nd best team in this conference and they scored 33 pts tonight and lost at home...Mich st the best in the conference lost also to this penn st team at home..Northwestern is hardly a good team. Purdue lost to OU on a neutral floor. Mich St lost to UNC. Texas won at Wisky. Clemson also won at Illinois. Wisconsin lost to Marquette. What conference are you taking them against? The Mountain West? WCC? West Virginia waxed Ohio St at Ohio St. Watch some basketball before you run your mouth. I would find it hard for 3 other people to agree that the Big 10 as a whole is good let alone any team in the big 10 other then MSU and Purdue making any type of run at a championship, and neither will.
