Big playS negated by a lot of judgmental calls

Wow is that you in that picture, Ogata? If so you should do any of the following ASAP:

a) Jump off a bridge.
b) Slit your wrist.
c) Eat Sh*t and die.
d) Run in front of a moving train.
e) All of the Above.

ILL HELP YOU OUT

E!!!

Jesus it wouldn't be gambling if stupid bad beats didn't happen. Instead of taking shots at Ogata maybe you all shouldn't play with money you can't afford to lose. Quit whining. I am sure the refs had thousands of dollars on the game and knew there would be a last minute lateral play that was confusing so they could swing the game in their favor. Get OVER IT!

13-1 penalties.....

about 75% of them were judgment calls

you are either

A. A LUCKY ASS CHARGER BACKER THAT GOT LUCKY WHEN HE SHOULDVE LOST.

B. A VAGINA THAT THINKS HEIS TOUGH GOING FROM THREAD TO THREAD TELLING PEOPLE "WHO CARES"

BUT IN FACT YOUR THE LOSER THAT KEEPS READING THESE THREADS, GO GET SOME PUSSY PAL. THIS GAME COST PEOPLE A LOT OF MONEY AND IS VERY CONTROVERSIAL AND WILL BE DISCUSSED WHETER YOU LIKE IT OR NOT FOR THE NEXT FEW WEEKS, GET USED TO IT.:finger:

what some of you guys are overlooking is that this game stunk from the beginning, it wasn't just about that 1 TD at the end that they took off the board. Look at the case he laid out, 15 penalties to 1. 2 TDs being called back. This game stunk from the getgo.
We don't need to be lectured on the virtues of gambling, we know you win some and lose some, but it just stings a little when you get fucked over on a fix.

I don't mind you discussing it but I find it highly unlikely that the game was fixed. Who fixed it the individual ref? A group of Refs? Roger Goodell? Maybe it was aliens?

If the play would have stood a lot of people would have lost money betting San Diego too.

Should the NFL really give a shit if the final play that has no determinative outcome on the game is right or wrong? No as long as the win or loss was not effected by the final play they should give two shits.

My question is how can somebody not look at this objectively and not ask questions? Why are they spending five minutes after the game is over to reverse a call that had no flag on the play? It had no bearing on the winner/loser of the game so why take points of the board?

And yes I did lose a grand on that play

You are right, they should have just said screw it the game is over but they were trying to do the right thing I guess. Glad to see you aren't going crazy and you are reasonable.

The sports gambling community itself is pathetic. Thats why nothing will ever come of this. The IQ's of most people on here is well below 100. The sports bettors cannot even unite to voice their displeasures about a blatently crooked game. Instead, they throw insults about boohooing, starting mutliple threads, and acting like donks. I won with Pitt ML, but I am saddened that the game I watched since I was a kid has been a complete sham and yesterdays game showed it clearly. You just never know what games are on the even anymore. We are a sad group when we all cant even unite on the obvious.

Well said. It would have been a lucky cover, but the fact that a debacle was made out of nothing just looks too shady. This may have not have been a fix but I hope the refs realize how bad they made themselves look.

what big plays were negated by judgement calls? Please list them, all of them.

And there was clearly a hold on the TD at the end that made the Steelers kick the FG.

The refs bet this game & had no intention of not having the Chargers not cover this game.

Anyone who thinks this was fixed is a complete idiot. Lets just say that the refs did want to fix a game. Why the fuck would they choose a game the majority of the country is going to see? Why would they pick a game with a 5 point spread that is hard to control? Why would they make an obvious bad call they know will be talked about all over the place

Some people wonder why they review the play when the game is decided? Because you as a bettor want them to. Maybe it didnt work out for you yesterday, but you know how crucial seemingly meaningless calls are to the point spread. They review it for the same reason you must kick the point after when the game is already over, the same reason the NFL forces teams to release injury reports.

To answer your 1st question:

Tv games are where the most money is being bet, hence where Vegas makes the most money!

2nd question:

It doesnt matter what the spread is as long as the heavy money doesnt enter the majority of the bettors most of the time, not to say the gamblers never win, cause they do but Vegas in the long run wins out!

3rd question about making a call that would be talked about:

These people dont care what you or I think after the fact, they made money & the Pitt backers lost, bottom line is they think they are above everyone else & can do whatever they want!

As far as people being stupid for thinking the games are fixed, prove to me that there not, if you cant, STFU & take your head out of your ass cause theres no way that these are just coincedences week after week!

Yes it was a reviewable play. They just totally fucked it up.

It was not a forward lateral. And even if it was, it was caught, so the play would continue. The only way the call they made would be correct was if the first lateral was forward and hit the ground. That would kill the play and the game would be over.
