Vince Young. He impressed me early but his last five passes have been horrible.

Vince Young is an unbelievable athlete, his passing skills have a ways to go but he does have a cannon, just needs to work on his decision making and accuracy. Two important qualities for a good qb.

By the way, Texas is the best team in the country.

I would be excited to see a Texas-USC showdown. I think it would be unreal.

It should happen--I don't see either team losing any of the remaining games on their respective schedules. Doesn't mean they won't trip, but I think we'll see these teams playing each other in January.

I sure can't see Texas losing. I would not be surprised one bit if USC loses...they need to get their crap together, there is way too much skill on that team to play that poorly for six of their last 12 quarters.

Vince Young is a stud, and he has really improved passing, but there were moments in that game when he wasn't even close to hitting a receiver. His future is at RB or WR in the NFL. Comparisons to Mike Vick are way off.

Vince Young's passing is improved quite a bit from last year. But he's going to have to get rid of that Bernie Kosar side armed passing style if he expects to make it in the NFL. I would like to see USC play a truely good defensive team before I make judgement on who would win a game between them and Texas. And it don't look like the Trojans play one for the rest of the season. Texas toughest game is probably coming next week against Colorado and again against the same team in the Big 12 championship game.

GS...what about TTech? Any chance their offense can keep up with Texas?

If Texas got USC during the year I think Texas would make a game of it and maybe win. If Pete Carroll has 4 weeks to gameplan for Texas, USC wins 9 out of 10 times. Texas passing game will be non-existent and it will be Vince Young running versus USC. It should be a lot closer than USC/OK from last year, but I still think USC wins by two TD's.....But I'm not so sure USC is going to win out.

I went to the Hilton in August and the line on the Texas Texas A&M game was -Texas -2.5. I should have loaded up on that.

If Texas A&M gets their shit together by the end of the season they might give Texas a good fight. But i made the hasty statement on the RX at the beginning of the season and said I thought that coach Fran was a great coach and LSU Pete came on board and promply laughed in my face. Even though Fran was great at TCU and New Mexico St. I'm really starting to agree with Pete on his ability in competing against the big boys. We'll just have to see with that. WC I saw what Texas did to Tech last year at Tech. And it wasn't pretty. The Horns now have a quick defense. And Tech just can't seem to deal with those kind of defenses. Colorado is much more solid on both sides of the ball than Tech. To tell you the truth I expect kind of a close game this weekend with Texas-Colorado.

I've never liked Mr. Brown, seems to clam up in a big game, imo.. What will Texas ever win with him there?? Great recruiter, though..

Vince's game against Michigan last year was the single greatest game performance I have ever seen.

WC Bias --

I follow TX Tech closely. I think Texas will absolutely destroy Tech. TX has too much speed on the defensive side of the ball. Teams are always trying to keep up with Tech, but with Texas, Tech will be playing keep-up -- and they will not be able to do it.

Just my opinion

texas tech is one of the most underrated teams. they always play texas good in austin and they have thebest shot of beating texas. may be one of the biggest games in both of the schools history. it will be a shoot out no matter what.
