After catching a touchdown pass in last weekend's win at Green Bay, Moss celebrated in the end zone by pretending to pull down his pants and moon Packers fans. Buck immediately called it a "disgusting act."

McCombs said that statement was out of line. A two-sentence news release issued by the team said McCombs felt Buck's comments "suggested a prejudice that surpassed objective reporting."

Dan Bell, a Fox spokesman, said Wednesday the network has "no intention whatsoever" of removing Buck.

Buck, during an interview on Sporting News Radio earlier this week, stood by his criticism.

"I have nothing against Randy Moss," Buck said. "I don't even know the guy. I just know that with the history that he's had, and coming off that game at Washington, it was just stunning to see that."

Moss walked off the field in frustration while his teammates lined up for an onside kick with 2 seconds left the previous week in a 21-18 loss to the Redskins.

In all honesty I wasn't thrilled with what Moss did, but I did think Buck freaked a little more than need be...that was my first reaction....If it wasn't Moss perhaps Buck would have not lost it on air...

I think Buck had Green Bay large... I have noticed he likes GB in earlier games

yup. agree with lander here. ive seen buck on late night talk shows a few times, and it is amazing the stupid comments that come out of his mouth.

he claimed on carson daly that fox had a microphone picking up the sound of ben affleck "crapping in his pants" after jeter had hit a home run.

he also joked that he thought "carson's cool, so i gave him my cell number" --nobody laughed.

on conan obrien he said some stupid crap there also i dont remember, i just remember thinking buck was an iratating piece of doo doo afterwards.

You know what, after seeing the incident like everyone else, and reading all the other stuff that has followed, including this request by the owner ...

I think I have lost respect for Fox sports, more than anything else.

What Moss did was vulgar, but really funny. Hey, it is a football field and not a board room.

And another thing. No flag, no foul. There was no flag the play. But obviously people like Joe Buck think they know better than anyone else.

Let's face it guys. Would you rather hear more self-righteous empty moralizing from the likes of Joe Buck or Merv Albert types, or see more althelets taunt the crowd?!?

Jimmy Johnson also smashed Moss during an interview and Cris Collinsworth and Aikman did too during the game. He deserves it. If they fined Joe Horn for a cell phone last year what should this get?

Minnesota would be better off getting rid of Moss and getting 2 quality defenders for him. Culpepper plays better w/o him. Nate Burleson is almost as good as he is anyway and he tries hard on every down.

Mike Tice needs his ass kicked for letting Moss get away with all this crap.

^^That is hilarious. Sounds like you've been smoking the pipe. This should maybe get $5,000 which is the least they'll fine someone. It will be more cause it's the playoffs. You answered your own question. Cell phone being the key words. Who takes time before a game to put a cell phone on a field so he can pull it out IF he scores a TD. Same thing with a Sharpie or sign. Those celebrations are far worse than moss's.

You're smoking out of the same pipe. There are about 2 maybe 3 announcers you can even come close to comparing to Jack Buck and his son is nowhere on the same planet. He's a very good baseball announcer, a terrible football announcer, but for you to say greatest ever and better than his dad is beyond belief.
