It's becoming increasingly clear that they're going to go w/TJ & Gus AGAIN. Hartman the 85 yr old scribe for the Star Trib, mentioned it again today. Childress & Spielman aren't looking to spend $$ in FA. WTF you'd think it was their $$. Granted we do need an OL, but Itzy or Bitzy has enough cash and there's room under the cap, to get both done. If they stick w/these 2 stiffs, Vike fans should boycott this bunch of losers. If so move the fucking team, I don't care anymore.

They are stacked at so many key spots but the lack of QB play is what's keeping them from winning it all. Would be nice to see them take a chance on someone.

While typing this I did realize they traded a 4th rounder for Sage Rosenfels. That actually might work out pretty damn well for the Vikes.

Sage Rosenfels - QB - Texans Report: Vikings to offer Rosenfels new deal
The station says there is still haggling about compensation, however. The Texans want a third-rounder and Minnesota is offering a fifth. The station expects the sides to settle on a fourth, but it doesn't sound like a deal is done. February 23

The Vikes offered a 4th last year for Sage and Houston wouldn't take anything less than a 3rd. Seems as his value has gone down after how he played last year when Shaub was out. Like when he single handedly gave a game away to the Colts. If he's brought in I doubt he'll be anything more than there to "compete" with Tavaris Jackson, who will again be given the starting job.

As much talent that the Vikings have, it's sad to say they are missing the biggest piece of the puzzle. A coaching staff, specifically a head coach and offensive coordinator with a little creativity. I've never seen a more predictable bunch.

That defensive line is so good, they just need a Trent Dilfer type and they'll easily be a lock for the playoffs.

Sage Rosenfels is more accurate than Tavaris and a LOT better passer.

Childress/Jackson will hinder this team as long as they're there.

First step: Find a QB via draft or trade (no VICK)

Second step: Fire Childress and hire a competent, fresh, motivator to coach

This will continue to be an underachieving squad until these changes are made. A shame really given their overall talent level.

VOR What you'rte Saying Is Sadly Very True

What the fascination Itzy has w/Childress is beyond me. He loves this worthless piece of crap for some unknown reason. And I don't think it's $$$, as he seems willing to spend in other areas. If it doesn't change, the window on this very good group will close.

Brad Childress has bet his career in Tavaras Jackson. A guy that couldn't even start at QB at Arkansas behind Matt Jones ( an NFL receiver).

Not only did they draft a guy that transfered out of D1A ball, but they wasted a 2nd round pick on him. Childress always defends him ( until it was impossible not to after early last year).

Not only should they get rid of TJ but Childress should be fired for such horrible horrible judgement. Anybody that would make that big of a mistake isn't fit for an NFL coaching job. This isn't me just saying this now, you don't need to be a rocket scientist to see that Tavaras Jackson is a no good bafoon.

And Now It Looks Like

Cutler was available. How much fucking worse can it get? And these chickenshit sports writers here in the TC, especially Sid Hartman (the OLD fool) won't speak up. IF Sage can get the job done, fine. But it looks like better opportunities were there!

Sage Rosenfels is not an answer the the Vikings problems at QB. Unfortunately, there really is not a good core of QB's in this years draft. I agree that they should look at Jeff Garcia.

They Won't Look @ Anyone Now

It was a miracle that Childress budged enough on Sage. He's stubborn and won't go any farther, than this. It wouldn't surprise me if deep down he hopes Sage flops, so he can restart Jackson. He just wants to justify his original pick, couldn't give a shit less about the team. ASSHOLE!!! :>(
