Bracket buster game. Anyone get a line for this anywhere? Figure it would be Nevada -3. Would love Catamounts in that spot.

Anyone with thoughts?

GL to all today

haven't looked for it yet but should not be that low, imo. Catamounts are good and all but UNR has their own formidible big man inside, a huge HC advantage; no America East foe should get that much respect, especially 3,000 miles away from Burlington. Cats might not even be best team in own conference (BU). i'd say -7 is a fair number. anything significantly less and i will be pounding Wolfpack. gl.

I don't think Vermont ever gets lines. I saw them play Albany in person on Wednesday. Coppenrath is a good shooter, very agile and can run the foor. Sorrentine at 5'11 is super quick and can shoot. They also have a couple of more very good 3 point shooters. They have played at Kansas and North Carolina this year. They were in the big dance last year. My feeling is if they get there this year, they can stick around for awhile with a top team. I am going to take a serious look at them if they are getting a good amount of points in the first round.

I agree with Opie and am very surprised that the line would be this low.

Exactly--low line and everyone pounds Nevada against a very good team from non-lined conference.

Catamounts walk away with somewhat surprising straight up win to the uninformed.

This game will have NCAA flavor as loser definetly eliminated from at large consideraton (Vermont's at large chance super slim as they must win out and lose in conf championship by less than 3 points to have a very slim look by committe. I believe that Vermont would be top 31 at large team but with America East affiliation how could Selection braintrust justify two entrants from tiny conference)

Wrong on this one. Catamounts on top at half--not sure how game played out down the stretch. Will have to check boxscore.

If Vermont makes NCAAs (probably high 14 playing weaker 3) expect them to be tough out with opportunity for winning first half outright. Have a feeling depth via foul trouble may have been problem today at Reno elevation, travel, etc...

Good call for those Wolfpack backers. Still love Cats in NCAA tourney to cash 1st round. Today's loss probably adds .5 to 1 point to that line.
