If Bama is motivated, they will manhandle Utah. The Utah personnel is undersized at the line of scrimmage, and there just isn't much Utah will be able to do here to overcome that big disadvantage. TCU manhandled Utah in the regular season and somehow lost the game. I believe they outgained Utah by over 200 yards in that game. I think Utah is a fraud that is very fortunate to be in a BCS bowl game. They struggled to beat a bad Michigan team, almost lost to Oregon State at home, got dominated by TCU and pulled out the win, etc. This is not a BCS caliber team IMO and Bama should steamroll them.

dont think boise has a strong enough offense to get past a very tough tcu team and i wouldnt bet the big ten or MAC teams with your money unless i was fading them
love tx tech just think you got to many dogs here....remember these are bowl games with a month or so to prepare... better teams should be able to execute

Be wary on that WVU/UNC game. I'm a senior at the university so I live and breathe Mountaineers football, but this is a bad spot for us. Our offense is without a pulse in the red zone and the Tarheels D is pretty good. They also play a balanced style of offense, something we don't take to well, and their WRs trump our corners substantially. both Nicks and Foster are big targets and will match up very well against Hogan & Lankster. If anyone saw the Rutgers/WVU game, Kenny Britt had Hogan beat on nearly every single pass play. He finished with 11 catches & 140+ yards and if it wasn't for 3 overthrows, Britt would've had 3 50+ TD's. Also if UNC keeps getting Greg Little involved, the WVU defense is even more fucked as we have quite a bit of trouble tackling.

For WVU, everyone knows about Pat White and what he can do but our offense is White, Devine, & Sanders. You shut them down, you force White to throw and while he can make a few decent passes, it simply isn't what he does.

UNC - 24
WVU - 17

I like Ga Tech... Not the same LSU as previous years and that triple option offense will wear down the Tigers.

Think Ga Tech covers easily

I agree with you on MAC Teams, but the Big Ten usually suprises people in the bowl games...Rule #1, NEVER bet against Penn State in a bowl game, I think they cover 10 against USC...

Thanks guys for your input, keep it coming we got a month to discuss these games, thats why I love bowl season, cuz I am usually well prepared for it

If Mizzou comes to play they should cover easily (more talent); if they play the "bowl roll" and just show up the spread could be in trouble.

The coaches and team attitude toward the game makes all the difference in the world (doesn't it always)?

A Gator "home game" in Miami is a myth

think im leaning florida in the title game...home game basically..

The Championship game in Miami (Dolphine Stadium) makes for strange surroundings. It would seem logical to assume that Florida is playing a "home" game (in state) but other factors come into play:

Oklahoma will receive the same amount of ticket allotment as the Gators; fan support should be about even.
A trip to (warm weather) Miami will be a "treat" for the Sooner team (ho-hum for the Gators). The Oklahoma contingency will fly to Miami; the Gators may travel by bus (not certain of this but most likely) and that could be a miserable ride (but no jet lag).

With the Gator team remaining basically at home there could be more distractions during the Holidays (girl friends, family, buddies etc.).

In my opinion, the team that overcomes the [long] lay-off will win this football game (we're back to coaching and preparation).

Either way...good luck and Happy New Year.

Question about Penn State..Do you think they will be able to put up enough points to keep it close?? This is practically a HOME game for USC..I was looking at a 31-10 type of game..

You may be able to help me out on this one

Some good points sir...Of course I am factoring other things into the equation as well, being almost a home game was just a bonus...I think Florida is the better team for one...Two, Oklahoma is not a good bowl team at all, whens the last time they won a BCS game? Couldnt even beat Boise State a couple years ago, and WVU beat the hell outta them last year...Ill take Meyer any day over Stoops in a big game...And Three, Florida shows up for "big games" unlike Oklahoma...Sure Michigan beat Florida last year in the Capital One Toilet Bowl, but I questioned their motivation in that game, and had they been 100% focused they woulda beat the hell outta Michigan in my opinion...Im takin the Gators -3, if I lose then so be it...

DA MOSS- Never bet against Penn State in a bowl game, period...Paterno is as good as it gets preparing his team...Im not saying USC wont squeak out a win, but I am fairly certain it will be a close game, and USC wont cover...Guess we'll see though, good luck this bowl season

any thoughts on utah here peoples?
the only help for utah is that they have a running qb. and of course bama has just played that with teebow, but the gators are much larger and faster across the board.
