I have been going to Vegas for about the last 20 years during the opening rounds March 17,18,19,20. I am currently residing here in Vegas. How many RX posters will be coming to Vegas besides Redeye who shows up every year ?

Kermit, I try and leave town every year for March Madness. No benefit to being here with all the crowds. Usually I try and see the first round if it's in a convenient city.

Almost all the big Casinos have Super Bowl parties planned but they are keeping it secret as to exactly what their plans are

The casinos don't want the NFL to shut them down like they tried to do last year. So they want to make sure there are no legal loopholes.

Directtv Baby And A Computer With A Couple Of Friends Set Up 2 Or 3 Tv's That Is How To Do First 4 Days Of Tournment. Of Course A Big Breakfast Before The Opening Tips On Thursday And Friday. If You Are A Serious Player You Need A Computer And A Vegas Casino Cannot Give You This Option.

Hard to beat the sportsbook setup though for March Madness, no need to flip through the channels when there are a bunch of TVs in one spot. If you bet dogs or obscure teams, Vegas is hard to beat during the tournament as well. It is square city, squared! Lots of college kids around and they all seem to want to put money on Duke, Kentucky, and Arizona. Never fails the marquee teams are going to be priced at least a point higher in Vegas during the first two rounds of the tournament.

I know this isn't quite indicative, but a few years ago I went to Montreal the day after the championship game for a 5 day vacation. It was opening of baseball season and I saw the Expos (RIP) in the dome. Good thing they had it because it was snowing outside. The night before I was to come back to Vegas I go to an internet cafe and check the weather. It is probably 6 inches of snow outside on the ground and it is still falling. The weather.com website says 22 degrees. I check the weather back home and it says "94, sunny". I almost died thinking about it! Sure enough got home the next night, about 9pm local time and as we arrived the captain says the weather was 83 degrees. Nothing shocks the system more than walking into the airport with below freezing weather and snow on the ground and getting out and having to fire up the AC in the car.
