Vandy?

The line has jumped up to 4.5. I know we're(S Car) coming off a 3-9 season and a lot of unknowns but is Vandy really gonna be that good? I'm worried, was really hoping we could steal a win here as I don't see a lot of opportunities this year. Thoughts?

Yeah Jake, this one perplexing one Vandy Alum/player......Me, LOL. D is gonna be very good this season but O will suck. My only intuition is that the Cocks must have no offense, but just now starting to look at games closer. I haven't seen a total but that might warrant consideration, the under that is. GL

I capped this game at 6. Favor of Vandy. But didnt play cause well, its Vandy.

SCA has massive issues at QB. They are playing on the road ...and even though its Vandy, I dont see too many options for SCA to score.

But two very so so teams at first glance.. One play could tip this game over. But I think Vandy will win...something like 19-13 just my 2 cents..

So I think as people cap this game they will see that SCA will most likely struggle to score thus driving up the line...

I saw where ESPN predicted them to be 7-5. That's pretty dang solid. I read where the expect their offense to be a lot better. So many unknowns for us. Possibly starting a true freshman at qb and that doesn't usually bode well in the sec.

to be honest for ESPN to say either team will be better on Offense is like predicting the Broncos will win last years SUPERBOWL..haha

ESPN predicted who to be 7-5, the Dores??? I highly doubt that and if what you say is true about the Cocks starting a freshman at QB, the under looks so much more appealing. D won't be the problem for the Dores, time on the field for the D might.

Either a true freshman or a sr. walk-on with a little experience from last year will start at QB. Honestly I hope it is a freshman because there are two with quite a bit of potential. Brandon McIlwain and Jake Bentley, two four stars. I am hopeful, but we won't know a damn thing until the third or fourth game of the season IMO. The O/U was 42 last time I checked. Personally, as Gamecock alum and somebody who follows the team fairly closely, I would stay away from the side. I am staying away from the whole game.

That's horseshit, and ya just heard it from the horse's mouth. Vandy goes 7-5 this year, I'll personally fly 7 of the players here (my bird holds 8 very comfortably) to NOLA for the dinner of a lifetime, it ain't gonna happen. I've looked at the schedule and I see 4 wins, possibly 5, but 7, lol, give me the keys to your car, I'll park it in a nice spot.
