Nutt has a nack for laying an egg in front of big games. It wouldn't surprise me if they lost this one trying to focus on next week's Bama game.

I've been having a real good day so far, and i'm on miss pretty big tonight..the talent IS there, and they already laid their egg last week. This has now become a "must win/make a statement" kind of game for them, and they will do it. they got their big road-game jitters out last week at USC, and they were humbled like they needed to be. but nutt loves these "back against the wall" kind of games, and nothing spells potential for a bounce-back statement game like a date with vandy.

The have all of the motivation in the world and they are finally in the right frame of mind now, so if snead has even a decent game, or if they just turn around and hand the ball to mccluster every down, ole miss covers this one easily.

bumpitty bump! sorry, couldn't resist..had this one circled all week. ole miss is a really good team, and I love that they were "discredited" to a certain extent last week, so they should finally have some good line value...people were in a hurry to write this team off as a fraud last week, but I think that will prove to be a big mistake as the season wears on..

edit: the above assessment stands, even if vandy gets 7 here to push for a moment, I'm not worried. ole miss pulls away in the 2nd half.

it's not too late..miss -3 2nd half anyone? thinking of adding a bit here..vandy will have to pass, which they will struggle to do. don't see why ole miss doesn't continue to outscore em from this point on..
