Look out for them in the playoffs. They might do better than some people think. The defending Champs might be done after tonight's loss.

16 really good teams are gonna make it and another couple really good teams won't.

It's gonna be exciting!

I got that gloomy feeling like had last year when the Kings were down 3 games to 0 in the first round against the Sharks.

they won the Cup finishing 8th in the west couple year back. IF they get in, IF, they have as good of a chance as anyone to go all the way.

I think this will be the most exciting playoffs in history. No clear cut favorite and so many potential teams on fire heading in.

Do the Blues have the goaltending?
How will the Hawks be without Kane?
Would you like to face the Jets if they get in? They are big and fast and their goaltending is great down the stretch.
Vancouver wasn't supposed to make it this year with a new coach, new GM and new goalie. They could surprise. Better road record than home.
Calgary just seem to win when everyone counts them out.
Minnesota with the best record in the league since the all star break. Dudnyk is incredible and lots of fire power in the lineup.
Washington has Ovechkin
NYR have my old coach who won back-to-back President's trophies in Vancouver and now another one in NY. Complete team.
NYI have slipped a little but tons of young talent and better goalkeeping than they've had in ages
Ottawa best record in the last 20 or so games could beat anyone IF they get in.
Habs have arguably the best goalie and defenseman in the world and seem to be made for playoff hockey
Lightning have a healthy goalie this time and great young players
Red Wings have had iffy goaltending lately but we all know they can get hot but tons of talent and a great coach.
Pens? Look at that talent but might now get in. If they do, they have the talent to go far.
Bruins? Lots of injuries all season but now healthy. They can get hot.
Preds? no one seems to talk about them too much but great goaltending and tons of young talent
Ducks? kinda quietly winning and right up there with the best record all season. Their goaltending has been inconsistent.

this is gonna be an awesome playoffs.

I see the Rangers as the favorites going in. They have the experience and the goaltending, but there are so many good teams, winning it all will is no easy task. That's why I like the NHL, almost every team is good.

of course they are if you look at the best record in the regular season and the oddsmaker agree with you. First to eighth place in each conference isn't that much difference. Its wide open as to who the winner will be.

Yeah but experience is huge in the Stanley Cup playoffs. Teams with players that haven't done it yet don't have a good track record.

the last 3 times the Canucks and Flames met in the playoffs, all 3 series went 7 games and the winner went to the Stanley Cup Finals every time. Hmmmmm.

ottawa is in after their win earlier today.

Last 2 teams fighting to get in are Pittsburgh and Boston. Who would have thunk?
