Va Tech -3

Took Va Tech at -3 when i saw it. I follow the Huskers and I think they are getting better, but not sure they are ready for a trip to Blacksburgh.

The young LB for Nebraska still have a ways to go and our a little on the light side.

The NU offensive line has not played great in their 2 games vs Arkansas St and Fla ATlantic. I think the D line for the Hokies could give them some problems.

Zack Lee did looke really sharp throwing the ball last week but 1st away start for him.

Any thoughts from others on this game?

I think Va Tech is the better team and is at home. Should be around 7 IMO.

I thought the line would be 5 or 6. As a Husker fan, I would like to think that the game could go either way, but don't believe that to be the case.

Also, mobile QB's have given the Huskers the most trouble in the past.

I see Va Tech is up to 5 now, glad I got 3 will proably try and middle (for part of original bet) if it hits 6.


Another item to note, courtesy of P Steele, Va Tech led 28-10 late in the 3rd quarter last year in Lincoln and had handled NU on both sides of the ball untill NU got a punt return to get back into te game.

I thought this line would be 7. I love Va Tech at -3. Lane Stadium is always a tough place to place and I don't think Nebraska is on their level yet. Not that VT is world beater, but -3 for a team that is still a top 15 team at -3 is a very nice play.

Line seems a little bit high for these 2 IMO. Like the Big 12 here and the points.
