UVA does not travel well for years now. Their defense tends not to get on the bus. Tonight they face a hot Syracuse team at night in the Dome, with a very good RB and decent QB and WRs. UVA has a new 1st time head coach, he knows UVA has struggled on the road against good running teams, he coached at Clemson. Since last spring Elliot has focused on making UVA a better road team with a defense that travels and can stop the run. How much improvement can UVA expect with just 20 spring practices, and 30 days of pre season? UVA is 2 years away from being a good team with a run stopping defense on the road.
Armstrong is not clicking yet this year, either UVA has a poor OL or the WRs have checked out early. The Cuse will score 30+ in this game, UVA will need to keep up, 9 1/2 is a lot of points. Armstrong is capable he's proven before he can score points, and he's gunning for the NFL. Im on the over 52 as UVA will need to score to have any chance in this game. 9 1/2 is a lot of points, Vegas is saying Cuse will score a lot. Can Armstrong keep up?
