You can get the 35 at I'tops right now. Weak team I know. Alabama has had brutal injuries the last couple years and coach Shula will not play key players once the game is in hand. After Brodie Croyle was sacked 5 times and hit twice that many against Tenn, he will wear a brace on his left knee for this game and maybe the rest of the season. With that in mind Alabama will not expose him to hits often if at all. That means they will run, run and run somemore. This will shorten the game and make the cover harder. My reservations are that the Bama D scores a couple TD's or the backup QB's air it out in the 2nd half. I don't think Alabama's 2nd team will run thru Utah St. Also there is no need for a statement game here, only to stay undefeated. With LSU and Auburn down the road there are bigger fish to fry, so a nice 31-10 win will make everybody happy, including me.

Likely flat spot for Bama and it would appear that they will not take this game seriously. The only thing that you might want to consider is that Bama has squeaked by the past few weeks and it might be a good idea for Shula to get the offense going again and regain some momentum. Utah State is horrid defensively. They have no running game other than the QB and will throw often which will lengthen the game. The over looks like a better play in my opinion.

Hope you cashed big on Auburn vs LSU. That was my favorite play so far this year. Bama is not deep because of the probation issues and will make it hard for them to pour it on. This line will go down, however at this high number not past a key number. Shula has taken much sh!t over injuries when games were in hand, if he plays any key players after he sees a win is assured I will be shocked.

How can you say that Bama is pathetic? Its true that Prothro going out really hurt them and that they are really banged up on the offensive side of the ball. Hence the reason for the struggles on offense. But I'd take that defense any day of the week. Even with the two smallish "D" linemen.... They have as much speed as any I've seen. I'll also take a perfect record any day as well.

That being said I lean to USU this week as well. 5 touchdowns is too many to lay in this spot.

Bama is far from pathetic. I agree they may be outclassed by the teams ranked ahead of them but they are having a special year and that D is legit.

The same D that got lucky on two fumbles in their red zone? The same D that had it not for Rigg being injured would of probably scored the winning TD? The D is decent but with a good offence they don't stand a chance... they suck...

Bama would beat anybody in the Pac 10 outside of USC. Their defense is the real deal. Utah St will be lucky to get double digits. But asking Bama to cover 35 is a tall task.

'Bama scores 36 here, they cover. Not only could 'Bama beat every team in the Pac-10 not named USC. I'll take 'Bama +3.5 vs USC. SC hasn't played a defense even HALF of the caliber of Bama's. Reggie Bush would not be tap dancin around vs that defense, and leinart wouldn't know what hit him.

Game went about the way I thought. Alabama did let B Croyle play more and pass more than they should but the number covered. Another big play on Tenn
-13. Didn't pull the trigger early in the weak but this is a chance for Tenn to regain some pride after some tough losses. Mismatches on the line of scrimage abound. As Spurrier said (he is having to start 2 walk ons) "How many walk ons is Tenn playin?"
