Utah St. -3 will cover tonight

I bought a 1/2 but don't think we'll need it.

I've seen this team play three times this year. Wells can really coach. Keeton goes out and it's next man up. I really like the D though. If you've seen SDSU play, you know they aren't that good. They run the ball but won't against Utah St. What's that mean, the SDSU QB has to make throws and he can't. I'll take the three and ride the Utah St. defense.

I capped this game for several hours today with the intention of hammering SDSU. I love the scheduling spot for SDSU. But after reading everything I could find about both teams, there is no way I can bet SDSU. I don't see how they are going to score. Their transfer qb from Kentucky is a game manager and their wr are average at best. Utah St has a fantastic defense with play makers all over the field. Utah St has a big play making wr who had to sit the first 4 games of the year. Since his return their offense has been humming. I can easily see SDSU get in an uncomfortable position where they are forced to throw the ball and this game turns into a route. Also, SDSU main rb is 5'9, 170....he's going to need space that is very difficult to find against USU. Anything can happen and obviously there could be some let down but USU has a huge personnel advantage. SDSU did get their best offensive lineman back last week but I just can't see a way the cover without USU shitting the bed.

Bottom line, both offenses are not good but both defenses are good. Difference for me, is USU defense is really good and their offense is still better than SDSU and more balanced.

I don't love the game at all. You have a good defense getting points at home, one that can run the ball and stop the run. They are meeting a team with similar attributes. I have a small play on the Aztecs, but can't blame anyone taking Utah St.

Only issue with Utah St is a let down after the huge win last week, the first over a ranked team at home in a very long time. They went ape shit over that win, as well they should have. Road game after that win is a tough spot. Also a surface switch, turf team now playing on grass.

yep. Theyve been there, done that. Never a let down after any of their big games, very level headed team. Better on both sides of the ball and they've upgraded at qb and wr.

The only caveat of going hard on the aggies is Rocky Long traditionally gives zero fucks about out of conference play. Conference championship is everything to the aztecs and this game is bigger for them than the boise game was for USU.
