I hate laying chalk especially on the road when it seems like a very JQP square play. I hate it even more when I see this line opened at -6 and has moved towards ASU with around 65% to 70% on Utah. Keep in mind, I take those figures with a grain of salt as we don't know how accurate or realistic they are.
What I do like is this Utah team. Fundamentally sound on both ends of the court, scoring points and defending their opponents very efficiently ranking in the top 10 in FG% on offense and defense. They are a well coached team and will have the best player on the court tonight in Delon Wright who comes with an NBA pedigree (Dorrell Wright's younger brother). This will be their first road game since mid December when they played at a neutral site against UNLV. They also have Zona on deck. Some say it could be a look ahead game for the Utes but I think they take care of business. They are at the top of the Pac 12 standings while ASU is at the very bottom. Lots of talent on this Utah team for them to not take the night off. They will be a big force come Madness time. It won't be easy tonight but I feel the Utes slowly pull away in the 2nd half and get the cover.
