All the South Carolina newpapers have run articles about how well the South Carolina program has performed this year. It has brought about a zest for South Carolina basketball not seen in many years. It has got all fans fired up and South Carolina is trying depserately to live up to the hype. I know this isn't actually lacing up sneakers and playing the game, but if karma exists, then it well manifest itself against Tennessee.

I was busy this morning but didn't have a chance to list why I like South Carolina.
Downey is the best player on the floor at the most important position. SEC POY imo (sorry Jodie, you have been great, but you have to beat UGA at home on Sr Night). He is an ultra quick guard against team that likes to play fast.
When USC lost at UT, they shot terrilbely and Tennesse hit I believe 53% of their shots. Don't know if UT has another 22 turnovers, but USC ability to take care of the ball will be the difference in this game and winning on the road in conference play is always tough, but when a team is being revitalized and bringing a program like UT in is only going to have the fans fired up.
South Carolina doesn't shoot particularly well, but they do a good job on the boards and I think DD and ZF have a big night and combine for 35 and South Carolina wins 78-72.

The articles I saw were in the State Paper and another Upstate Paper. I am sure much is being said about South Carolina Basketball in their University Newpaper, but I have not seen those articles. I think their University Newspaper might be called "The Roost", but I cannot say for certain. Not a South Carloina fan, but a Clemson fan, however I always enjoy a great matchup and this should be a fine SEC game.
