this angle helped me pick the winner of the 2002 Ohio State game over Miami

I do not have lean as of yet but here are some thoughts!!!!!

before i post this: In my mind i see OU's peterson running all over the field and
Jason White having the game of his life after last yr debacle. This was going to
be my play until the line basically came to a pick'em.

stay with me for a second, every yr when the game starts, with the fans, the
crowds, the celebrities, and former hesimen trophy winners etc, you can almost
pick your winner! In 2002 when every in the stadium was ohio state all old school big ten football. When they intervied Jack Nicklaus i knew i had a winner all the way up to the pass interference call in the End zone, The big 10 was going to get their National Championship

Past winners
Nebraska, Tenn, florida State, Oklahoma, Miami, Ohio-State,and LSU
(no where does it say Pac 10 since 1978)

Pete C and Norm Chow is one of the best Coaching Tandems in Football even
better than Stoops without his brother!

You may want to wait and place your bet right before kick off and see
the atmosphere if they are taking about all the former heismen winners
and if you get that Usc feeling you will know it if you see it....

If USC does not win tonight the Pac ten will have no credibility left and
we might as well tune into the major schools each week....i have this
feeling they have set up Usc all yr from the get go (think back to beg)

Good luck tonight i'm pulling for ou but thinking USC may be for real

Win or lose, the Pac 10 has as much credibility as any other conference. Ask Notre Dame if they would rather play a top-level SEC team on their turf or a mid-level Pac-10 team anywhere. Ask Purdue and Iowa which team was the toughest they faced all year.

Every conference has its share of turd at the bottom...every single year. As bad as the Pac was this year, there is still more balance between the top and bottom than in any other conference. For instance, nearly every team in the Pac 10 has played in the BCS at one point, won most of them, while the bottom 6 in the SEC, Big 12, Big 10 and ACC have never even made it to a BCS game. The worst teams in the Pac 10 (Washington, Stanford, Arizona) could be in the BCS in a couple years, but I guarantee you Baylor, Vanderbilt, Duke, Indiana, etc. WILL NEVER PLAY in the BCS.

No doubt the Pac 10 sucked this year, but so did most of the conferences outside their top 2 teams. Has the SEC lost credibility due its 3-3 bowl record, or the Big 12 South due to its 2-2 record. No way. This year's bowl losers (Florida, Texas A&M) may be next year's sleeper. Likewise, an Oregon State or Arizona State may rise out of nowhere.

If USC loses tonight it is because they played an awesome football team in Oklahoma, not because they played in the Pac 10.

L5Y, USC is 4-0 vs SEC, outscoring them 167-48!!!

Well by that rational, they've already publicised former heisman and Buffalo Bill Orenthal James Simpson attending the game to root for his alma mater.

Was taking USC anyways.

i figured you were going to come in my thread and i'm bascially may play

the game because of credibility alone. Your name wc bias is for a reason

but this is a fading conference and it's win tonight or you may not get

another chance for 30 more yrs! Let's face you play late night no one watches

you, you get a sympathy number one and free heisman candidate! Do not let

usc get their ass kicked tonight because credibility will not be there period.

Huh? I know, USC's didn't count last year and neither did Washington in 91 or 92. But just so you know, USC has only five or six senior starters and with everyone coming back, will probably be pre-season number 1 next year too. And given their cupcake schedule in the Pac 10...will probably be playing for the national championship AGAIN!!!!

If the Pac 10 is such a fade, make your play! I'm sure you wish you still had your money on your Notre Dame and Purdue plays.

Yes, USC should be #1 or #2 preseason next year. And I'm coming to LA to watch them demolish the Razorbacks in September.

i may play usc tonight for conspiracy theory only! If the best teams wins it
will be ou! I made plent of money on texas tech and yes i did lose money on
purdue i had no play on oregon state! After they couldn't kick an extra point
to beat lsu i backed off of that terrible team!

if you read my post i may play usc no lean
just thinking it might be the pac ten's turn!
they sure need it in my opinion.....

four bowl teams only and no one wants to
coach the basketball team, no respect, i hope they win...i'm tired of the sec, big 12
power houses. with a dash of big 10 and miami and florida state
