Canada was a little better today despite being down 2-0. I wouldn't say the US chocked. They hit the post on the empty net after Canada pulled their goalie. One inch and it was 3-1 and game over. It was a great game to watch. Either team was deserving of the win but luck, at the end, was on the good guys side!

huh? Canada out played the Americans for most of the game. Especially the 2nd period. Not by a wide margin mind you but they were more dangerous overall.

This saved me today: took US pk -130. Even though they had the regulation time 3 way line offered, I still pushed my bet.

Never knew until today that these international games were based on regulation time. I'll take it.

I mushed them

went to get a haircut and they had the game on, USA 2-0 with just over 3 minutes left

it's in OT, I walk upstairs to my office and find the live stream just in time to see the penalty on the break away setting up the winning PP

I watched about 4 minutes and saw all of Canada's scores

even after the end of regulation breakdown they had a ton of chances to start OT....nada

but the nerves really showed on that 2 on 1. canadian defender makes a mistake and plays the puck leaving the american girl wide open for the gold medal. sends a perfect pass over and not only does she not score but she barely touches the puck, falls ass over tea kettle, and pushes the puck toward the blue line sending canada on a breakaway which results in the penalty that gives canada the 4 on 3....

just a simple choke job

Pretty sure overtime is 4 on 4. Don't know how you get a 5 on 3.

when a PP is called with 3 vs 3 they add a player to the ice instead of going 3 on 2. the 5 on 3 was a few seconds away so it was actually 4 on 3 when the PP goal was scored .... anyway, that's how you get 5 on 3 in a 4 on 4 format (clear as milk)
