going under the total. 183 is an extremely high total for this matchup. united states averaging 100+ against completely overmatched teams doesnt mean much to me. its no surprise argentina has shown some pretty respectable defense in these games -- their key nba guys come from teams who (what a concept!) actually know how to play fundamental defense. theres no doubt the americans are better and will get their share of easy baskets over the course of the game. but i just do not see it being the layup line and dunk contest theyve become accustomed to so far. 95-80ish sounds about right. we'll see. strong play.
