No doubt General. Florida has way more talent than ND right now. If he takes ND job, the potential for a losing season exists, especially with their brutal schedule next year.
He goes to florida with a bunch of good young talent. He goes 9-2 or 8-3 and he will still be worshipped.
I do think he will have to change his offensive scheme. I don't see his wild pass option routine from the MAC and MWC working against much bigger and faster defenses in the SEC.

You wonder if Spurrier would have wanted the ND job??? Talk about a program needing more than a football mided coach.....they have had those ND cannot get an AMERICAN KID with real talent to go there...they need RECRUITING....and SPURRIER can do that as well.

Spurrier hates recruiting. Detests boosters even more. He would not be a good fit at Notre Dame. I do think his stint in USC in part was a slap at Florida the way things were handled, and will be a short one.....
How bout Florida State when Bowden retires? Probably wouldn't do it because he has lots of friends at Florida, but that would be the ultimate :finger:
