UPDATE: SYSTEM RECORD NOW 29-1!!!

Sorry to whoever is interested in my posts, but I have been having a lot of trouble logging on lately.
My last pending system play was betting against Denver. The first game they smoked Utah. So I was suppose to double down against them their next game, and it would have been a winner! Unfortunately, I'm an idiot and bet on Utah as the system play by mistake. Well Utah didn't cover against Toronto the other night. So my final double down was on Utah last night, and they won handily. Could have been an expensive mistake.
Anyway, got the win and also won on Minny last night.
Minny had lost 2 in a row going into last night. They have only lost 3 in a row ONCE all season. It was an easy win.

OK, i understand why your on Bost & Port they both just lost 1 ATS. And i understand why your against Chic they just won 1 ATS.
But why on Atl who just lost 1 ATS and why on Phex who lost last 2 ATS?

MIkeoxbig, the easiest way I can explain, is that I am handicapping a series of 3 games. Therefore I saw value in betting against ATL and against Phoenix.
Utah covered over Atl, so that worked out. Phoenix has to play at Clev, then at Phili. Can they cover both of these games too? Only time will tell.

A bit late coming to this party, just want to make sure I understand the theory.

You singled out teams which have either done very well, or very poorly, in streaks. Once they have a game which fits the pattern, you then bet against, or on, them as per previous results this season. If you lose, you double the wager and proceed until you win. Since you are 29-1, there seems to be an end point to the martingale: 29-1 on $50 being up 1046 would seem to indicate you stopped after 3 (win 1450, lose 55+110+220), but that would put it at +1065, was there extra juice somewhere along the way?

29-15 is impressive by itself.

6 of my wagers started with a $30 wager. My one loss was also a $30 wager. Therefore, -33, -66, -132, total -231.

Boy, the way it is going the last 2 days, it will be interesting.
I have to admit, some of my plays this last week were not as strong as usual because the season is ending and I'm getting the itch to have more plays. Not smart, since we all no it's quality that wins, not quantity. But still in the game.

InSpades, yes my system picks are 29-1 and actually now at 35-1. If you read my previous posts, I state what is a "system win". A system pick is betting 3 games in a row on the same team. If the team covers their first game, then that is a system win. If it doesn't cover, then I double down on their next game, and if it wins then it is a system win. If it doesn't cover again, then I double down one last time, and if it wins, then it is a system win. NOW, if it loses for the 3rd time in a row, it is a system lose.
My only system lose to date was betting on G.State. It was a smaller bet (documented). Initial bet was 30 (lost 33), double down 60 (lost 66), double down 120 (lost 132). Total loss $231.00.
No other game that I have bet on or against for 3 consecutive games have not cashed in.
I am going out for a workout now, but will check back in a few hours. If you have any more questions or comments, please write and I will get back to you all.
Oh, another thing that I wrote was my OVERALL PICKS RECORD, this is every bet I've made counted individually. Example, I bet on UTAH for three in a row. The first 2 games they lost ATS, the 3rd game they won. Therefore overall record is 1-2, system record is 1-0.

I've made a huge rookie mistake. I have 2 pending plays tonight. I placed the wagers last night, CLEVELAND -8 (NOW AT -7.5) and NO +5, (NOW AT +6.5).
No Mashburn tonight as well. I think Stacey Augmon will step up and fill the void. New Orleans needs home court advantage in order to even think of getting past the first round. They will get to the foul line numerous times like against Toronto, but they will not allow Detroit back in. This could be a very low total around 150 pts.
As for Cleveland. If they keep winning, they make the post season. This would be great for Cleveland and for the NBA, watching Lebron James beat the best in the NBA.

SUMMARY:

CLEVELAND -8 FOR 100
NO +5 FOR 100

Remember, since Detroit has been winning lately by approximately 20 pts/game, then why are they not favoured by at least 10pts against a Mashburn less New Orleans Team?
BECAUSE THE LINESMAKERS KNOW MORE THEN WE WILL EVER KNOW!

Watch out with this Hornets team right now!! They have been playing bad ball since the end of Feb. I feel these two teams are clearly going in opposite directions...Hornets will be below .500 soon...they are on a down ward spiral in my opinion. As for this game I feel the Pistons will continue doing what they've been doing...Mashburn or no Mashburn. Oddsmakers are giving the Hornets much respect at home in this game...that's why -6. Also, they still have the dangerous B.Davis....Good luck with the Cavs. Hope you win that one!!!

Toronto should cover tonight. Debating moneyline wager as well, what do you think?
If Houston covers, they then go on the road for 2, against quality apponents, MEMPHIS and MILW. Both of these teams need the wins for home court adv. in the first round. Also Houston at home last time out, beat both MEM and MILW. PAYBACK!
I think Toronto will match up well against Houston, especially cause of their defencive strengths.
Also, in Houston last 16 games, only once they have covered a differential over 8pts.
Finally, Houston has won 4 in a row ATS, only 1 time this year.
They are at 2 wins in a row ATS right now.
