Detroit +14 - ya ya I know, but I'll take the points and watch the fireworks.

Houston -4.5 The Jets aren't ready to beat a good offense on the road yet, so I'm laying the points here. Their defense is improved, but their offense is a joke.

Green Bay -4 - I got a nice line and think that the Bears are overhyped with their shitty secondary and this one will be a statement game for Green Bay early. Looking at a big win for Green Bay tonight!

Well I was wrong about the Jets - or I over rated the Texans...either way that was a loser from the start. Detroit is still Detroit, but clearly they are better than last year. The 14 points was good most of the game, but they couldnt hold on as Drew Brees roasted them time and time again. Packers popped in the backdoor for a cover with the late td so it wasn't a total waste of a day. Overall 1-2 to start my NFL year.

With that said MNF is here and we have 2 crappy games to watch.

I'm going to take the Bills +13 and hope the trend of NE being 0-9 with a DD spread continues. Small lean to the over, but not touching it.

I am also going to take the points (+10.5) with the Raiders because I think they will hang tough tonight. Both bets are small, but still action. I like the over here as well for some strange reason but not playing it.

So Bills +13 and Raiders +10.5
