How good can North Carolina’s defense be if it gave up 27 points and 391 yards of offense to lowly McNeese State? If not for an 82-yard punt return for a score, the Heels might have lost the game. Rutgers, coming off an 8-win season where it averaged almost 33 ppg, had a rough time against a very good Fresno State team. Be advised, North Carolina is NOT your mother’s Fresno State…and this is NOT basketball. Look for both teams to put up enough points here to fly over the total.

UNC doesn't care about defense, they can ball with their offense. Same can't be said about Rutgers. They miss RayRay a lot more than people think.

Flave is right, UNC hasnt cared about defense since Brown was there! I do think that they can win it with there offense though!

I feel what your saying.. i just think rutgers can get the stops to win this games.. they should have beat fresno but couldnt get the ball in i think it will be diff againt a bad unc team.. they have one player on offense tate.. their quaterback isnt anything special.. teel is alot better sicne he has the better surrounding

I strongly disagree that UNC is a bad team...ya they looked like dog shit against McNeese State but they have some playmakers and they did keep games close on the road last season. Experience is huge in games like this and UNC has tons.

Kept it close? they were winning and a rain delay.. still shouldnt allow a team like mcneese state to come back and you win on a kick off return

You obviously know nothing about McNeese St. They went 11-1 last year (they lost the Championship game) and use a spread offense that is difficult to defend. They have a bunch of guys that cant qualify for the big conferences. There are 4-5 guys on this years team that have NFL potential. I wouldn't look at the McNeese St game at all when handicapping this game, because it is just going to confuse the ignorant public.

Also, UNC had some of their best practices this week.
