Why would you wish the business owner goes out of business? I find that immature. Why isn't tolerance a two way street?

Haven't you heard? It's the newest and coolest fad:

"born gay" lol

Even IF there were ANY genetic predispositions to being "born gay" (feel free to stop pretending that there are) that is like saying people are "born with cancer" - patently retarded.

And yes, suppressing it is much healthier than indulging in this self-destructive lifestyle. Ask Roy Simmons.

Face it, you lost this debate when you labeled anyone who doesn't buy into the whole propaganda a bigot - how very left of you.....

Now you're just trolling me Bigot. In your delusional world I lost the debate. And Obama isn't legally the president. The proof is on its way. Look around you fool. People like you are dinosaurs.

"I want to marry a cow! Bake me a cake, or else! I want my rights and demand by feewings to be validated!"

I'll bet every match you get from that dating site you posted that pick from Purple Pasture IS a cow.

He wasn't interested in Cows, only Bulls. Often times the loudest, anti gay voices are self loathing closeted queens, who have to yell at the top of their lungs, and to the largest group they can, how horrid Gay is. See Ted Haggard, and other Church Leaders who eventually are found out.

Mainstream media in Mass. starts campaign to normalize transgenderism and sex-changes for schoolchildren!

http://www.massresistance.org/docs/gen2/14a/media-youth-trans-push/index.html

"This past year Massachusetts began to enforce its mandate that public schools fully accommodate the concept of "transgenderism" and cross-dressing by children. Now, a powerful campaign has been ramping up in the local mainstream media to normalize "transgenderism" and even sex-change operations for children in the eyes of the public."

"Not long ago this concept was considered so fringe and demonic that not even the homosexual newspapers would barely touch it. But the public is now being softened up to believe that this is an everyday occurrence -- and even a "normal" part of life."

We're all sinners in some form or another. Nobody should be casting stones.

Agreed.....but there is a difference between casting stones and not accepting it because of what you believe. I think it's dead wrong and disgusting, but would I wouldn't never confront a homo and tell them they are going to hell. That's not my decision. But it is my decision to vote against it if it's on a ballot. I shouldn't be discriminated for my beliefs either. All this media about pushing it on the American public is wrong in my eyes, but again that's my opinion.

I wonder, do people believe what they believe because of what the they learned from the bible/religion? or do you believe what you believe from your interactions with the world?

I'm going to guess for most religious people it's going to be a combination of both. Obviously, religious people are going to take direction from their chosen doctrine but it's almost impossible to not have our real world experiences shape us in some way.

I find it strange people use the Bible or religion to pick and choose what parts he/she believes. Why don't they believe ALL of it, why do they pick and choose? Did people here come to this site specifically because of the political forum? Yet there are posters here quoting the bible, yet are at a GAMBLING website. I think religion is a bit hypocritical because many quote the Bible when it supports their own beliefs and ignore it when it doesn't.

I have worked with many gay people, have gay friends it's like working with anyone else, they will tell you they didn't choose. it just happens. Do I want to watch 2 guys make out in front of me? No not really, makes my stomach turn, but that is something that occurs automatically. My stomach doesn't turn by CHOICE, it just does.

B-I-N-G-O. Or they'll make excuses for not following it literally on some things, yet demand absolute literal obedience on other things. Kinda like how they selectively follow the US Constitution. :103631605

and your stomach turns why? Maybe because it is against natural law? I know gay people to, but that doesn't mean I have to approve of their lifestyle and vote YES for gay marriage. I voted no for the MD law. I knew many people who voted yes and respected their right to vote that way. I just don't get the gay rights people all up in arms when someone makes a sound argument against gay marriage. I'm all about them having civil unions and all that jazz. This country needs to get back to some sort of moral code. It's been a run away train of late. I'm tired of this shit being jammed down our throats (ha).

Because he's a bigot.

Scott, On just about every other subject in here, you are levelheaded, but this one, you get your panties all in a wad. Why?

The fact is, science cannot and does not show that people are born gay, no matter how much you repeat the phrase.

People might be born with a predisposition towards homosexuality, but you have to choose to foster that behavior.

You could say the same thing about pedophilia.

Why does my stomach turn if I see two guys making out? Don't know, it just happens, but it DOESN"T TURN seeing two WOMEN making out. I understand where you are coming from as far as having your own opinion and the right to vote the way you want, but many people believe there are NO sound arguments against gay marriage, just like I am sure their are many people who think there is no "sound argument" against gay marriage. Regardless of what I think or say what is the "moral code." Why is it a "moral code?" It is a run away train and it is being jammed down our throats, I don't think there is anything anyone can do about it. Glad these are decisions I don't have to make.
