UGA..WTF...Load up on Boise!

So as you all know here, I try to take up for the Dawgs as much as I can. Being from the South, we like our tradition as much as we like our football and I just saw the uniforms that the Dawgs will be wearing and it makes me sick! These things make us look like some sort of laughing stock of the SEC now. Red or white jerseys with silver britches is perfect for football here at UGA. If CMR wanted these hideous things, he should be removed asap for making the Dawgs the laughing stock of the SEC.

The last time we tried these BS gimmick uniform tricks, Bama laughed, then proceeded to beat our ass in our own home. As a UGA, I am just sick. What a freakin joke. Load up on Boise now!

I have been reading some inside info on these unies and it talks of the players being pumped to play in these things. Thats what I don't understand. Why get pumped for the stupid uniforms that you are wearing? It makes you look foolish when you lose in those gimmick uniforms. At the end of the day, it has to be some sort of distraction for the team. Leave this stuff up to the "newbie" college football programs that want to sport a spin that has no tradition.

Can't believe Richt would allow some bullshit like that when UGA has been almost as consistently old-fashioned, but sharp and noticeable as Penn State, or Notre Dame.

They're only wearing them for one game. Boise will be wearing a Nike Pro Combat uniform too - not their traditional uniform. These type uniforms will be featured throughout the season during different games (see link below)

My ATL brother! No harm to Dawg nation with the title of the post. It was merely a joke. The truth is UGA doesn't need or should want to wear those nike bs uniforms that looks like something out of Star Wars. If they wanted to change something up, I would like to see the old school pic of UGA on the helmet. Simple. I do know that wearing shit like that and losing makes it look even worse, but no way will I predict the overhype Boise squad to beat us. I know, no harm no foul. But Boise has to wear these atrocious uniforms too. I'm not a fan, but again, don't really care too much...especially if we win. The blackout vs Auburn was incredible...nothing will top that.

Oakmont. I would like to lie and say it was my home course of Royal Lakes, but its not. I was at the blackout game vs Bama, and we all know how that went (but would like to erase that from my mind). The only thing that worries me a little on UGA this year is CMR. It is tough to get a good read on him. I know the guy has the weight of the world on his shoulders right now, but it has been pretty quite out of Athens right now. I do think that is a good thing tho.
