Luis Saldaña got into the UFC when they were giving contracts to everybody, and he has some wins over people who are no longer in the UFC any more; On top of that he has some of the worst cardo in the UFC, his only chance to victory is a first round KO, but Sean Woodson is good boxer at 6'2 with a 79.0 reach. Luis Saldaña has a good kicking game and is well rounded, but is not at the level of stricker that Woodson is. In the Luis Saldaña vs. Austin Lingo fight he had bearly any offense, and I had him losing 30-27 and in his last fight, the argument could be made that Bruno Souza fight won that fight.
Sean Woodson has been fighting with a broken hand in his last 2 fights. He took the Terrance McKinney fight on 5 days notice and his ground game has improved since then. I dont really mind the loss to Julian Erosa because it was was late in the fight and Saldaña ground game is not as good as Erosas, and Saldaña will be gassed by the 3rd round. Sean Woodson boxing is improving, he is throwinging with more power, but is not decreasing his output. Woodson has a good take down defense and stand up off the cage, and becuase of his height he throws his knee like a uppercut when opponents try to shoot.
