Another bet to consider is a UFC prop bet for this fight to go the distance

So you are recommending taking an even money bet on the fight to go the distance when Silva has only see cards once in his career? Where is the value there?

Also Jardine got finished in 48 seconds by Houston Alexander and 36 seconds by Wanderlei Silva , considering Thiago is a pretty aggressive fighter just like the two mentioned I wouldn't count him out to knockout Keith quickly . Jardine can catch him as well , Thiago got rocked in several fights but was able to recover , if he gets rocked here I think Jardine wont let him off the hook . If anything I think this wont go to a decision .

Hmm, Jardine also took chuck and rampage to decisions though, won against chuck and nearly decision'd rampage till the last second.

So lets pretend like he didn't get knocked out in less than 50 seconds twice ? Maybe that had something to do with the way both Chuck and Rampage fight ? Didn't even mention that Keith got laid out by Travis Wiuff in 6 seconds @)

I would lean toward Jardine in this fight also. Fighters seem to find Thiago's chin quite easily ( see Tomasz Drwal and Machida fights) and I am not as impressed with his UFC wins in comparison to Jardine's.
Like others, I don't think much of the distance prop bet....currently +110 at 5D. Though I like Jardine to win, if Silva can pressure him quickly before he gets his herky-jerky rhythm going....he could fold up Jardine quick. Likewise, though Jardine doesn't pack the strongest punch, Silva is so hittable that he could likely finish him within 3. I would need to see a lot better than +110 on that prop bet to even think about it.

I like Silva. Thiago fights like Wanderlei and calls Wanderlei his hero. We saw how an aggressive Muay Thai fighter did against Jardine already...

I like Silva too. Any fighter that gets embarassed by Lyoto is surely going to be slightly undervalued in his next fight.

TV fights better when he fights patiently. Against counter punchers like Page and Chuck he looks great. When he gets bum rushed by an aggressive fighter, he seems to just lose it. Thiago is this type of fighter and he does it with enough control to give Jardine problems.
