So we got UFC's Century pay per view coming up in a couple weeks. It's not an epic card, but it's got some interesting fights. GSP vs his most dangerous striking opponent, Brock vs. Mir 2 for the undisputed HW gold, Fitch vs a BJJ guy who KTFO'd his training partner, TUF coaches Henderson vs Bisping, and a potential 205 star in Jon Jones.
I'm thinking there'll be some upsets, just hopefully not in the two main event fights, as I have wagers on Brock and GSP.

What do you other cappers think about:
Bisping +255. Henderson is one hell of a fighter, but I'm thinking age is starting to catch up. Bisping has also looked verrry good at 185, and he definately has the hunger.

Coleman +240. The father of ground and pound is pretty damn old, and looked very terrible against Shogun his last outting. However, if he does come into this fight with decent cardio, I think he can take down Bonner and control positioning for 2 rounds to win via decision.

Also, Pitbull +200 is worth a look, but I'm a GSP fan so I'm riding the 5-win streak of Rush.
I don't know how Alves manages to make (hopefully) 170, as he is a monster of a man. He has good take down defense due to his size and strength, and has amazing stand up, especially leg kicks. GSP is an athletic freak with amazing overall skills. He demolished my fellow Islander, Penn (due mainly to a huge size advantage). Pitbull is gonna be the bigger fighter come fight night, but I think GSP uses his well roundedness and mixes up some striking with a lot takedowns to bog out Alves. GSP by rd 3 TKO.

Thoughts on these or any other fights are welcome.

Wondering how the regulars here would rank the 3 main underdogs with the best chance to win. I would bet most think Mir has the best chance. I would say 1. Mir 2. Bisping 3. Alves.

Originally I liked Hendo easily, but I still have flashbacks to last TUF season when Nog was the heavy favorite and god messed up by Mir. Henderson is great and I am no Bisping fan (who has he fought and beat?) but this could be where Hendo hits the wall and loses. I hope he doesn't. If this isn't his wall hitting-fight I see no reason Bisping wins. Henderson just beat Franklin who is still a much better fighter than Bisping.

Overall I don't like any dogs here. I am looking at a Lesner inside distance/GSP parlay. Don't really like much from a betting stand point on this card.

Will bet Mir..

Would bet Bisping a tad higher...

Alves/GSP is untouchable.

I'm all over Lesnar. He was beating the hell out of Mir their last fight, before he was submitted. Brock has much more experience coming into this fight and I would be very surprised if he was to get submitted. I have a big bet on Brock insde the distance at -171.

When I first heard of Hendo vs Bisping I first thought Hendo easily. But the more I think of it, the more my gut tells me Bisping stands a pretty decent chance. And for some odd reason, this is the first season of TUF I haven't watched one single episode.
I agree with zeeman on how Lesnar came out firing against Mir. The guy is an animal, but needs to slow things down a bit when he gets guys down. Hopefully the last 2 fights and sparring time has given him a bunch of experience to stay away from subs.
Not to take too much away from Mir, but his fight with Nog was more of Nog losing a couple steps than Mir looking like the Mir of old IMO. Mir was the first guy to EVER finish Nog, but I'm not hopping on the 2009 Mir bandwagon just yet.
Anyway, I'm betting Brock at -225 in some parlays, and -200 with some buddies of mine.

I'd be pretty surprised if Hendo gets KO'd as he has a very solid chin. But this is MMA and definately anything is possible. But I'm going with Bisping by decision.
