:lolBIG:

They were overrated all the way to the Final Four, eh?

How much money did they take from you going 4-1 ATS in the dance?

NBA U has this poor delusional dude punch drunk.

why is everyone starting these threads? lol

it's the first game of the year people. Teams will get upset throughout the year. Most great teams don't start really gelling until the conferences start.

sometimes they don't jell until Feb or even Mar

Jimmy doesn't play for November, and he doesn't give a shit about the first half of games either. He plays to finish strong.

Yeah, I watched the game...I must say Uconn looked pretty bad. Any team with a solid zone is going to give them fits. They basically looked like last year's team with much worse front-court. These threads are ridiculous but there might be some serious truth to this one. W&M is stiffs. But again, one game, can't get too worked up over it.

I remember Hasheem Thabeet was pure garbage the first few times I saw him play, He looked like a Big Clutz, just like the first few times I saw Roy Hibbert from Georgetown play, Both of those guys went on to have pretty good college careers, basically, players and teams improve obviously and that is the job of the coaches (to fix problems and get the most out of their talent), otherwise, we wouldn't need coaches

UConn was best team in the land with a healthy Jerome Dyson last season. They will be down a small notch or two this season, but they always got some big time talent.

I'm actually really excited about this Uconn team this year. William and Mary was an easy bet for me, watching Uconn for so many years they never start the season off great and it takes a couple of games every year for them to start gelling.

This team will be right tere contending for the Big East title IMO if they stay healthy. I like the new big man in the middle Oriaki.

Uconn needs time

Uconn is working 4 freshman into the rotation. Ater Majok will not
be able to play until the second semester. Laying 24 Pts with a team
that can't shoot foul shots and has lost 20 rebound per game with
the loss of Thabeet and Adrian to the NBA is not a wise wager.
Uconn will be good later in the season. They have talent but it will
take time to jell. You will have to pick your spots when wagering
on them. Calhoun is know for yanking players out of the game the
minute they miss a rebound, dont play defense or take a bad shot.
This is the way he coaches and the players are afraid to make a
mistake and it takes new players some time to adjust to this type
of coaching. Don't forget, these freshman were "Big Man on Campus"
in high school. This is like a shock treatment to them. I guess its
like going to boot camp, you get taken apart and put back together
with a different mind set.
I guess Calhoun is doing something right, he as more players in the
NBA than anyone. Many of which are doing quite well, $$$.

Actually Arizona has more players in the NBA right now in the last ten years.
