i'm not even surprised anymore by your stupid comments. i've been here all along saying this unc team is overrated, and they are, but they are WITHOUT QUESTION the best team in college hoops this year, whether then win the title or not. of coarse uconn could beat them in the tourney, so could pitt, louisville, duke, ucla and a couple others. they wouldn't more times than not, but those all have what it takes to beat unc on any given day. unc would beat them all at least 65% of the time though.

and for the people that will ask how i call unc overrated while also stating they are by far the best this year its simple. people say they are the best of all time or one of them and they are no where close. not even close to that category. they are however by far the best this year and should win the title.

i think UCONN matches up with them favorably cause they can match them athletically, and play better defense. UNC easily has better offensive players, but defense wins out over offense any day of the week

Defense might outrule when you only have 1 or 2 go to players, but UNC legitimately has not 1, not 2, not 3, not 4, but 5 guys that on ANY night can put up 20pts....LAWSON, THOMPSON, GREEN, HANSBROUGH, ELLINGTON....

Valpo, not a great team, but a team who milks the clock and slows the game down still UNC scored 85 points with scrub time to end the game. UNC has been just VERY GOOD the last couple of games, not GREAT, and still plastered the teams they're playing.

I'm not disagreeing that UCONN is good, because I've said from DAY 1 that I honestly believe they're the ONLY team in the country that could give UNC a run for their money. However, UNC's style is why their defense doesn't look as great as it really is. You look at the scoreboard and see other teams putting up 65-70 points because we NEVER slow it down, and overplay and score A SHIT TON from our defense, but ocassionally teams get a few easy layups and some and-1's. If you sit and watch UNC play half court defense, it is quite impressive.

Find me a team in the country that's as good as UNC is at scoring off their defense.
