Anybody here know this team? How pumped are they and how do they play @ home? Any comments are greatly appreciated.

my problem is my line is @ 5/ 5.5 not accounting for the homefield add. May be a no play for me, not enough evidence that they'll cover yet. Thanks man appreciate it.

I'm on them heavy at -5. Absolutely love this underrated team at home vs. a rather poor Syracuse team. UConn should win this by 14, but if you can't get it below 7, it's probably a pass.

TT,

I'm going to post a small play w/ the system, thx for the advice, this is a stadium I have no history on. With this info my line is 8 / 8.5 good for a Unit.

Thanks again guys,

I bet Uconn against Buffalo and Army and should have taken them against GT where they covered with the early line of +16 but missed it and wouldn't take them at +14.

I went to the Army/Uconn game last week and the QB, Bones, is not very sharp. His reads and passes are slow and if Army had a defense with speed and pass coverage they would have given them a game if not won outright.
The Uconn defense is good but not great and the int's they got at Army were, well it's Army offense, non existent at best. They were not covering for most of the game. I wouldn't be surprised to see Syracuse defense keep Uconn in check and with a little luck win on the field. Just my opinion.

also, some "funny" line movement here. line was +8 or +7.5, 30-40% of the public on syracuse, why is the line now +6-+6.5? any injuries, or is this a sharp play? keep in mind, the rx board has been hot lately, and seems that most of the rx on uconn. interesting to watch the line movment here. wdyt?

Syracuse has been HORRIBLE ATS on the road, historically. This is a new season and a new coach, but judging by their 14-38 thrashing at FSU last week, they play much better in the Carrierdome than anywhere else.

UConn also seems to score a lot more points at home. Granted, their first 2 games were against nobodies, but they can get to rolling on offense.

I'm on UConn -6 and OVER 44 for 1 unit each. And NO the bad weather reports don't worry me. For every 10 times we all freak out about impending bad weather, it is actually a factor on the game maybe once. GL

sportsinsight has it opened at 8. Wagerline and sportsbook has 6.5. I'm confused :icon_conf They're making it hard for the contrarian bettors.

Last week Rutgers started as a 2.5 Fav over Pitt. I bet Rutgers .5 hour before game time and it was Pitt -3. Rutgers beat them on the field. This is the Big East where anything can happen a rivalries flourish. Uconn/Syr rivalry is big in BB and is now finding a spot with the FB teams.

Cloudy now. Local TV:
TONIGHT: Cloudy, few showers and some fog. Lows in the mid-60s.

This is a new field with good drainage. Don't see it as much of a factor.

Geppi, it was a road game after a bye week, so they were a little lumpy. They'll be much more focused in a conference opener. GLTY
