UAB signed 19 JUCO's Wednesday

Credit HC Bill Clark and his partial staff for starting the player rebuilding process after the school
shut down the program for a year. He signed 19 junior college players yesterday to build around. UAB can add up to 45 players between now and the February signing period.


Sidenote: Great to see one of UAB's transfers after the shut down do well with another team.
Linebacker (forgot his name) was just named Georgia's most valuable player.

Nice to see some excitement around UAB's football program. Hope they keep it going..............

not only Ganus (UGA guy) but Jordan Howard had a great year at Indiana. He was leading nation in rushing yards before an injury but still ended season >1200 yards (in just 8 games) with a bowl game remaining.

unfortunately they just hired a guy that was just coaching at auburn and was a tenn grad. can't think of a worse combo unless he got his masters at penn state

RT, I really like Bill Clark. He has a great relationship with Alabama HS coaches and will get
the Blazers on the right track if given the proper support.

UAB needs an on campus stadium and slowly but surely support is beginning to gain some
steam.

doing a good job so far on the 2016 recruiting class. has uab ahead of texas, okie, state, so carolina, nc state, etc right now with kids from 10 different states
