Former heavyweight champion of the world Mike Tyson has been arrested following accusations he jumped on the bonnet of a car outside an Arizona nightclub.
Tyson was questioned on suspicion of misdemeanour criminal damage after over £700 worth of repairs were needed on the vehicle following an incident on November 27. He was later released.
The 38-year-old is alleged to have severely dented a Toyota Solara as its 22-year-old driver was leaving the Pussycat Lounge in Scottsdale at around 12.45am.
"Witnesses said that he appeared very intoxicated," detective Sam Bailey told the East Valley Tribune.
Tyson, who spent three years in prison in the early 1990s after being convicted of rape, has been out of the ring since losing to Britain's Danny Williams in July.
He suffered a knee injury during that fourth-round loss but is expected to make a comeback next March.
