Bias, outside of maybe USC this feels like one of those seasons like a couple of years ago where nobody is going to get out of their conference unbeaten. I see a lot of parity in the Big 10, SEC, ACC. And Texas still has to show me the money. Mack usually finds a way to lose at least once to somebody. Usually OU.

USC is fully capable of losing one too. I would not be surprised to see two one-loss teams playing in the Rose Bowl. I know for sure it won't be a team from the Big 10..they are going to knock each other out of it. I think it is going to be a tough road getting through the SEC undefeated. Georgia, LSU, Tennesee and Florida all look real strong...mix in Bama, Auburn, Arkansas and I can't see an undefeated team, but I think a one loss team from the SEC would get a sympathy vote over a one-loss USC or Texas.

Already a crazy year and we are just getting started.

And then there's the Louisville factor. Even though they had a little trouble with Kentucky I still think their capable of running the table. Here's a little theory. All the major conference teams suffer at least one loss. And say Utah and Louisville go undefeated. Who ends up in the title game? Utah also has a pretty easy schedule this season. Do they move up the BSC poll through attrition to numbers 1 and 2, or do the computers and voters keep them out of it? Remember that Utah last year would have been in the title game if it hadn't been for Auburn and OU going undefeated. Something tells me this is going to be a crazy year of football. I also smell more BCS controversy coming our way. :headbeat:

I think strength of schedule is going to kill both those teams. The Big Least looks so bad right now that the 2nd best team in the conference may have 5 losses. I don't think voters will move Louisville into 2nd position over any Big 12, SEC, or USC team with one loss. Unless Louisville beats everyone by 40 points and just completely dominates its opponents, like Utah last year.

Bias I found out a little inside info yesterday on OU that makes me think the UCLA game might me a little closer than i originally thought. I'll let you know what it is tomorrow on my Big 12 plays of the week. Do you have any info on the Oregon-Fresno game?

GS...thanks bro, I was all over OK at +7, may buy it up.

See Conan's post about the OR/FSU Game. UofO I believe is there and is close to the situation. My sources tend to be the ones that donate to the program and are not at all happy about the state of affairs. I take it with a grain of salt because Oregon had a real nice three year run and most of the fans tend to think that they SHOULD be a top program year in and year out....that's what money does to people..especially Phil Knights money. Truth is, all those playstations and plasmas and 50,000 weekly helmet paint jobs SPOIL players....they are indeed soft.

Oregon has way better skill guys then Fresno. They have two receivers and a TE that will play on Sundays, maybe more. Clemmens is adequate, nothing more. He makes a ton of good plays then fumbles or throws an interception or screws up somehow that ruins momentum.

WC, I respect your PAC 10 knowledge. But who can beat USC? I know, it's possible maybe Cal or UCLA can pull an upset but how likely is this to happen?

Always count on you & Conan for the PAC 10, good work. USC may not stumble in conference, call me crazy but circle 10/15 on the calendar. Don`t get me wrong I`m definately NOT a ND goofy, but the Irish will be ready for this one!! How does this wk`s ASU/NW tilt look to you? I laid 14 as soon as it came out now @ 15.5. If the Devils are mentally ready (?), I think they cover quite easily. I just wonder how much that hosing they got took out of them. Any thoughts? I`m also looking @ Idaho, the TY lovers got a taste of what`s in store for them after LW. I guess I was the only one on Cal. Luck to you my friend.
