I purposely put this thread in the main forum, instead of PM'ing a mod or placing it in the comments section for the simple fact that I think this should be discussed by the group of posters here...........and to see if most are in agreement, disagreement, or if it really doesn't matter.

We work hard to keep the stickies down to a minimum but the month prior to the Bash and football right behind it makes this time of year difficult.
We actually made a 7 thread in one sticky that I released this morning, it was posted sticky on July 28th to reduce sticky threads.. Check it out.

Then the always very generous Porno Paul asked me for a favor and sticky his come to my party thread (it is coming down soon). How could I say no after all he does for the Bash every year?
G.Money also, this is his 5th year doing his Skybook College and NFL Challange. He certainly deserves some prime time (he didn't even ask), I just made it sticky out of gratitude and respect for all that G.Money has done for the site over the years.
BetPhoenix.com requested a spot and after all they have been doing for posters around here how can I say no to a free $50 to anyone who wants it from a book that gave me around $6,000 for the Bash.
The Bash no room sign in thread is my doing and it was done reluctantly but I have extremely valid reasons for making the thread sticky that I won't go into publically.
The SportsOptions thread was at the request of Rx Management. The people I work for...End of story...
After today I will take down three of the five. I want to give G.Money some more time, his thread was just stickied yesterday.
The SportsOptions thread stays until further instructions from above.
Regarding thread titles - I agree except in rare cases when it can't be helped such as a national diaster or something that needs extensive explanation to make sense.
Still we have enough rules as is - hopefully posters will use better judgement when creating a thread title. I can reduce the character count allowed for thread titles. Something I will consider doing when I get back next week.
